Sept. 22, 2020 Cross Country Recaps: Rocky Grove, Cranberry, Cochranton boys, Warren, North Clarion girls win

WARREN, Pa. – Magnum Vincent crossed the finish line first in 17:10 to help lead the Rocky Grove boys to a 18-44 win over Warren.

He was followed by teammate Evan Wolfgong (18:16) and Warren’s Hugh Harrison (18:28).

In the girls’ race, Warren’s Katie Beyer was first across in 21:31 as the Dragons raced to a 15-50 victory.

CRANBERRY BOYS, NORTH CLARION GIRLS WIN

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Matt Woolcock crossed the finish line first in 17:27.5 as Cranberry raced to seven of the top eight spots in a 16-47 win over North Clarion.

Kaine McFarland (18:53.8) finished fifth for North Clarion.

Kalinne Ziegler (21:08.9) won the girls’ race for Cranberry, but it was North Clarion, led by Rachel Bauer (21:52.1) that won, 24-37, as they race toward a potential unbeaten dual meet season.

COCHRANTON BOYS TOP MEADVILLE

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Cochranton’s Chase Miller crossed the finish line first in 17:40 to lead the Cardinals past Meadville, 18-35.

Meadville’s Matt Puleio (17:43) was second, followed by Cochranton’s Kyler Woolstrum (18:11).
