Sept. 21, 2021 Soccer: Brockway, Kane, Grove City, Fort LeBoeuf Among Shutout Winners

   

BROKWAY, Pa. – Twelve different Brockway players scored in a 13- win over Keystone.

Isaac Guaglianone had two goals and Wesley Wolfe, Adam Lin, Jacob Maze, Jared Marchiori, Marcus Bennett, Noah Adams, Mayson Fremer, Dylan Bash, Eric Young, Joe Hertle and Jimmy Fremer one each.

KANE 3, PORT ALLEGANY 0

Joh Mishic, Justin Mishic and Josh Greville scored one goal apiece to help Kane past Port Allegany.

Aaron Mishic and Justin Mishic each had an assist, while Owen Hillard had six stops in net.

            

GROVE CITY 3, HICKORY 0

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City scored three second-half goals en route to a 3-0 win over Hickory.

Jacob Irani, Colden Barr and Jimmy Irani all found the back of the net for the Eagles.

Josh Dreves got the shutout in net.

FORT LEBOEUF 13, OIL CITY 0

                          

OIL CITY, Pa. – Jonnie Taylor scored three goals and Wade Atkins and Cas Espeso scored two goals each as Fort LeBoeuf blanked Oil City.

Sam Kightlinger, Nathan Feltmeyer, Mason Verdecchia, Nick Thiemann, Chris VAn Doren and Logan Belknap scored one goal each.

Feltmeyer and Kightlinger had two assists each.

WARREN 12, CORRY 0

CORRY, Pa. – Parks Ordiway scored five goals and added two assists as Warren blanked Corry, 12-0.

JT Blum also had a big game for the Dragons with four goals, while Ethan Best, Mark Lynds and Jack Darling had one goal each.

Lynds and Blum also had three assists each.

CATHEDRAL PREP 11, GENERAL MCLANE 1

ERIE, Pa. – Noah Handzel scored four goals to help Cathedral Prep to an 11-1 win over General McLane.

Dylan Danch, Michael Mucha and Reece Johnson all added two goals for the Ramblers, with Chris Morphy collecting the other tally.

                        

SLIPPERY ROCK 4, GREENVILLE 2

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Cullen Birkes, Nick Kingerski, Hunter Berry and Ethan Folmer all scored to help Slippery Rock to a 4-2 win over Greenville.

Rasce Stefanowicz had both of Greenville’s goals.

MCDOWELL 9, MEADVILLE 0

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Max Murphy scored four goals as McDowell blanked Meadville, 9-0.

         

Also scoring for McDowell were Robbie Umpleby, Connor D’Amico, Luis Corrales, Micah Hallmark, Andrew Danch and Dominic DelleCurti.

FAIRVIEW 9, IROQUOIS 0

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Ali Hosseini scored three goals as Fairview powered past Iroquois.

Logan Skelly had two markers for the Tigers, while Garrett Thayer, Josh Horn, Justin Noble and Issa Monsour added one each.

Mason Melaragno had four assists and Luke Irvin earned the shutout in net.

NORTH EAST 5, FRANKLIN 2

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Krew Ksenich recorded a hat trick to help North East past Franklin, 5-2.

Kaiden Lanagan and Tommy Hartner had the other North East goals.

Gaige Hainwalt had both of Franklin’s tallies.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 2, REDBANK VALLEY 1

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Elk County Catholic battled past Redbank Valley, 2-1.

Reagen Beamer scored off an assist from Quinn Fricko in the first half for Redbank.
