Sept. 21, 2020 Golf, Soccer Recaps; Siegel Shoots a 30; Clarion Girls, Karns City Boys get Wins

   

Clarion-Limestone’s Hayden Siegel shot a 30 to take home medalist honors during the KSAC mega match at Foxburg Monday.

While Siegel was nine strokes ahead of Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing for the individual lead, second through fourth place was decided by a total of two strokes. Clarion’s Jackson Fox was third with 40, and Venango Catholic’s Colin Liederbach’s 41 was good for fourth.

Clarion-Limestone (230) finished six ahead of Clarion (236) for the team win.

The final KSAC match is set for Thursday at Aubrey’s.

GIRLS SOCCER
CLARION 4, BROOKVILLE 1
Alexis Coull had a hat trick to lead Clarion to a 4-1 win over Brookville.

            

Alex Leadbetter picked up Clarion’s fourth goal, while Jordan Cook had a goal for Brookville.

BOYS SOCCER
KARNS CITY 4, SHARON 1
Dakota King scored twice, and Colson Ritzert and Owen Collwell added one apiece as Karns City topped Sharon, 4-1.

The win moved Karns City to 4-0-1 on the season.

WARREN 13, OIL CITY 0

Parks Ordiway continued his scorching start to the season with a 5-point effort (4G, A) in a 13-0 Warren win over Oil City.

                          

Mark Lynds, JT Blum and Ian Darling each had a pair of goals and Wes Kiehl had three assists. Alex Ferry had a 3-point game (G, 2A) and Jack Darling and Patrick Heffern each had a goal.
