Sept. 18 Soccer: Brockway Boys, Fort LeBoeuf Girls Earn Victories

   

KANE, Pa. – Marcus Bennett and Jared Marchiori scored two goals each as Brockway beat Kane, 6-2

Noah Adams had three assists, Alex Carlson one goal and one assist, Dylan Anntonuccio one goal and Joe Hertle one assist.

Justin Mishic scored both of Kane’s goals, with Owen Hillard and John Bell combining for nine saves in net.

PORT ALLEGANY 16, KEYSTONE 0

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – River Cramer scored five goals as Port Allegany blanked Keystone.

            

A number of Gators’ contributed in the win, including Aidan Emerick (3 goals, 3 assists), Noah Yeager (1 goal, 2 assists), Ryan Bowser (1 goal), Shane Lawton (1 goal, 1 assist), Syrus Sauers (1 goal, 1 assist), Austin Hamilton (1 goal, 3 assists), Terry Ireland (1 goal), Jett Ruding (1 goal, 1 assist), Justin Dunn (1 goal, 3 assists) and Eli Voss (1 assist).

CATHEDRAL PREP 2, ERIE 1

ERIE, Pa. – Noah Handze and Michael Murcha had one goal each as Prep topped Erie.

Charles Lokole scored for Erie.

GENERAL MCLANE 1, BRADFORD 1

                          

EDINBORO, Pa. – General McLane and Bradford battled to a 1-1 draw.

Jake Franz scored for Bradford and Cooper Robson for GM.

Cathedral Prep rallies for a 2-1 win over Erie High in boys soccer. Noah Handzel had 1 goal and 1 assist, while Michael Mucha had 1 goal and Sam Louie had 1 assist.

HARBOR CREEK 6, MEADVILLE 1

HARBORCREEK, Pa. – Brandon Konieczki and Justin Hakel had two goals each to help Harbor Creek past Meadville.

Sam Parente and Caiden Taft had the other goal for the Huskies.

FORT LEBOEUF 5, EISENHOWER 0

WATERFORD, Pa. – Nathan Feltmeyer scored three goals to help Fort LeBoeuf to a 5-0 win over Eisenhower.

Nick Thiemann and Sam Kightlinger had one goal each for the Bison.

WARREN 12, OIL CITY 0

                        

OIL CITY, Pa. – Parks Ordiway had four goals and four assists to lead Warren to a 12-0 win over Oil City.

JT Blum scored three goals and had two assists, while Corbin Reinard had two goals and Kohle Lyon, Finn Ordiway and Gavin Rex had one goal each .

GROVE CITY 13, SHARPSVILLE 2

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – Jimmy Irani and Pierson Badowski scored three goals each as Grove City beat Sharpsville.

Jacob Irani had two goals and Caleb Baumgartner, John Hake, Alec Ball, Ben Donnley and Hayden Glenn added one each.

         

NORTH EAST 12, TITUSVILLE 0

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Krew Ksenich scored four goals as North East blanked Titusville.

Michael McGuigan had a hat trick as well for North East, while Kaiden Lanagan, Troy Crosscut-Miller, Dominic Mass and Sam Wedzik had one goal each.

FAIRVIEW 5, GIRARD 0

GIRARD, Pa. – Five different Fairview players scored goals in a 5-0 win over Girard.

Nathan George, Carson Carrara, Zack Scott, Ali Hosseini and Josh Howells all found the back of the net for the Tigers.

FORT LEBOEUF 4, KARNS CITY 1

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Ashley Froess, Maggie Morrison, Elise Cacchione and Abby Kightlinger all scored as Fort LeBoeuf topped Karns City.

Emily Samluk had two assists and Maggie Morrison one for the Bison.

WARREN 2, NORTH EAST 0

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Georgie Bicking and Audrey Smith had one goal and one assist each to lead Warren to a 2-0 win over North East.

Both of Warren’s goals came in the first half.

BROCKWAY 3, KANE 0

Madalynne Heckman scored a pair of goals as Brockway blanked Kane, 3-0.

Danielle Wood had the other marker for Brockway, while Bailey Allison had two assists.

Lilly Heilbrun and Josie Orinko combined on the shutout in net.

ERIE 8, OIL CITY 0

OIL CITY, Pa. – Eden Palkovic recorded a hat trick to help lead Erie to an 8-0 win over Oil City.

Sydney Roche, Lindsey Meyer, Grace Rukundo, Sarah Meyer and Lauren Ferrante had one goal apiece for the Royals.
