GREENVILLE, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson College freshman and Redbank Valley High School graduate Declan Fricko was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Men’s Track and Field Rookie of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
Fricko won the high jump for the second-straight meet after posting a jump of 5 feet, 10.75 inches (1.80m) at Geneva. He added a fourth place showing in the triple jump (37-11, 11.56m).
Fricko currently ranks first in the PAC in the high jump and fifth in the triple jump two meets into the outdoor track and field season.
W&J returns to action Saturday at Westminster.
