ALTOONA, Pa. – Cathedral Prep’s Jacob VanDee, and Paniro Johnson, as well as DuBois’ Chandler Ho are heading to Hershey.
The trio all took third place at the Class 3A Western Super Regional on Saturday.
They were the lone wrestlers to advance to Hershey from Class 3A out of District 9 and 10, with the Super Regional, put in place this year because of COVID-19 restrictions, sending the top four.
VanDee earned a 10-6 decision over Troy Hohman of Penn-Trafford at 113, while Johnson pinned Connellsville’s Jared Keslar in 2:56 at 152 and Ho earned a 6-3 decision over Dylan Evans of Chartiers Valley in their respective third-place matches.
