Port Allegany Moves into D9 2A Baseball Quarterfinals with Win Over Keystone

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Scoring multiple runs in three different innings, eighth-seeded Port Allegany rolled past ninth-seeded Keystone, 11-1, in five innings at Port Allegany.

Ian Dynda drove in three runs for the Gators while going 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored, while Carter Moses was 2-for-2 with a walk, a run scored, and two RBIs. Blaine Moses also drove in two runs.

Drew Evens got the win going five innings allowing an earned run on five hits while striking out seven.

Logan Sell was 1-for-3 with a run scored for Keystone with Aiden Sell driving in a run.

               

Tye Elder took the loss going four innings allowing seven runs, five earned, on seven hits and three walks while striking out five. Logan Sell pitched ⅔ of an inning allowing four earned runs on two hits, two walks, and a hit batter while striking out one.

Port Allegany will play at Johnsonburg in the quarterfinals at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 25.
