Port Allegany Baseball Scores Three Runs in Seventh to Beat Salamanca

SALAMANCA, N.Y. – Port Allegany scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to earn a 7-5 win over Salamanca on Saturday.

Drew Evens got the inning started with an RBI single, followed by an RBI single from Blaine Moses and Tyler Fillhart ripped a two-out, two-run single.

Nick Wilfong got the win, going 3 ⅔ innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Fillhart also had a double in the game and drove in four of the Gators’ runs.

Zaron Tucker took the loss, allowing three runs in one inning of work.

   

                  

Jaxson Ross was 3-for-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run for Salamanca.
