Pair Of Ramblers Named Pa. Football Writers’ Class 5A All-State Selections

Cathedral Prep’s season was a bit disjointed, but it didn’t stop the Ramblers from reaching the PIAA Class 5A championship game.

Offensive lineman Jaheim Bassham and defensive lineman Jaydon Smith were rewarded as Class 5A all-state selections.

Bassham was part of a Rambler rushing attack that averaged 6.1 ypc on its way to 1,823 yards as a team. Smith, meanwhile, had seven tackles for loss and three sacks.
