Oct. 7, 2020 Soccer Recaps: Bradford Girls, Warren Boys Stay Perfect

KANE, Pa. – Mackenzie Lucas scored four goals as Bradford remained undefeated with an 11-0 win over Kane.

Maddi Cowburn, Kelsea Austin and Emily Morgan all had two goals for the Lady Owls, while Emily Bosworth netted the other.

Austin had four assists, Cowburn, Bosworth and Marissa Miller two and Kiara Hogue one.

CLEARFIELD 3, BALD EAGLE AREA 0

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Emma Hipps scored a pair of goals and assisted on another as Clearfield downed Bald Eagle, 3-0.

Hipps scored on an assist from Riley Ryan 1:45 into the game, the lone goal of the first half.

Alayna Winters scored at the 45:31 and Hipps added her second five minutes later on a feed from Riley Ryan.

Cayleigh Walker had seven saves to earn the shutout.

ST. MARYS 3, PORT ALLEGANY 1

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Kyla Johnson scored a pair of goals as St. Marys topped Port Allegany.

Carlee Ginther had the other goal for the Dutch.

Jessica Borowski had Port Allegany’s goal, assisted by Evin Stauffer.

Brielle Budd had 15 saves in net for the Gators.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 3, RIDGWAY 0

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Tally Cicone scored a pair of goals to lead Elk County Catholic past Ridgway.

Sami Straub had the other goal for ECC.

WARREN 5, CONNEAUT 0

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Ian Darling had a hat trick and Wes Kiehl three assists to lead Warren to a 5-0 win at Conneaut Wednesday. 

The Dragons are now 10-0.

Darling scored two of his three goals late in the first half, then finished off the scoring in the second half for the hat trick. JT Blum and Parks Ordiway also had second half goals for the Dragons.

Alex Ferry had a pair of saves in net.

FAIRVIEW 6, GIRARD 0

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Eli Yahn scored two goals to help Fairview blank Girard.

         

Drew Smith, Zach Scott, Nathan George and Aidan Piazza had the other goals for the Tigers.

NORTH EAST 8, CONNEAUT (Ohio) 0

CONNEAUT, Ohio – Garrett Hein notched a hat trick as North East blanked Conneaut (Ohio).

Josh Makin, rew Ksenich, Shane Keith and Kaiden Langan also found the back of the net for North East.

IROQUOIS 1, CORRY 0

LAWRENCE PARK, Pa. – A.J. Brine scored the lone goal of the game in the second half to lift Iroquois past Corry.

Collin May had the shutout in net.

FRANKLIN 3, TITUSVILLE 2

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Nate Pfenningwerth scored a pair of goals to help lead Franklin past Titusville.

Connor NIghtingale also scored for the Knights.

Owen Reib had both of Titusville’s goals.

CATHEDRAL PREP 6, ERIE 2

ERIE, Pa. – Sam Louie scored a pair of goals to help Cathedral Prep past Erie High.

Jack Foht, Reece Johnson, and Peter Wagner also scored for the Ramblers.

MERCYHURST PREP 2, SENECA 1

WATTSBURG, Pa. – Kennyy Zacks scored a pair of first-half goal to send Mercyhurst Prep pat Seneca.
