ERIE, Pa. – Max Murphy scored the lone goal of the game in the 18th minute to send McDowell to a 1-0 boys soccer win over Cathedral Prep on Saturday.
The Trojans improved to 7-0 with the win.
GIRARD 4, FORT LEBOEUF 3, OT
GIRARD, Pa. – Joey Lehotsky scored just over seven minutes into the first overtime to send Girard to a 4-3 win over Fort LeBoeuf.
The Yellow Jackets trailed by scores of 2-0 and 3-1 in the second half, but goals by Andy Jones (a header off a free kick from Christian Jeffrey) with 57 seconds left in regulation and Gabe Hansen (with 4:55 remaining in the second half) sent the game to overtime.
Alex DiTullio also scored for the Yellow Jackets.
Joey Lehotsky, Caleb Kowalczyk and Elliott Reuling scored for the Bison.

HARBORCREEK, Pa. – General McLane scored twice in the second half to break a 0-0 tie en route to a 2-0 win over Fort LeBoeuf.
Sydney Rotko and Teaghan Watkins scored for the Lancers in the win.
