Oct. 22, 2020 Soccer Recaps: Warren Boys Finish Off Unbeaten Regular Season

   

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Parks Ordiway scored four goals as Warren finished off an unbeaten regular season with a 6-0 win at Titusville on Thursday.

JT Blum scored two goals for the Dragons (15-0), and Ian Darling recorded three assists.

Blum added two assists, and Zane Anderson one.

            

The Dragon defense didn’t allow a shot on goal.

SLIPPERY ROCK 3, MERCER 1

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Kaleb Kuhn and Liam Gallagher scored second-half goals to break a 1-1 tie and lift Slippery Rock past Mercer.

Ethan Folmer had the first half goal for the Rockets.

HICKORY 6, WILMINGTON 0

                          

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Brady Robison scored a pair of goals to become Hickory’s all-time leading scorer, as the Hornets topped Wilmington.

Tyler Mele, Nick Scarvel, Paul Morelli and Lukas Jones all scored for the Hornets as well.

MERCYHURST PREP 5, FAIRVIEW 2

ERIE, Pa. – Rebecka Habursky notched a hat trick to lead Mercyhurst Prep past Fairview.

Erin Matlock and Luca Spracklen had the other goals for the Lakes.

Sara Genusso and Anna Thayer scored for the Tigers.

WARREN 11, MAPLEWOOD 0

WARREN, Pa. – Alyssa Anderson and the Warren Dragons recorded their 10th-straight shutout in an 11-0 victory over Maplewood.

Kyra Wotorson and Kyleigh Wilson both had hat tricks, as the Dragons have now outscored their opponents 109-1.

                        

Wotorson also had four assists, while Georgie Bickling had two goals and three assists, Eliza Brook two goals and Ella Ordiway a goal and two assists.

KENNEDY CATHOLIC 2, SHARPSVILLE 2

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Bellah DiNardo scored a pair of goals for Kennedy Catholic, as they ended in a 2-2 tie against Sharpsville.

GIRARD 2, NORTH EAST 0

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Emily Copus and Maddie Soudan scored a goal each to help Girard past North East.

         

Chyna Hicks had the shutout in net.

EISENHOWER 1, CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 1

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – Cambridge Springs’ Maggie Braymer and Eisenhower’s Elley Eastman both scored in the first half in a game that ultimately ended in a 1-1- tie.

HICKORY 2, SHARON 1

SHARON, Pa. – Kayla Saylor had a goal and an assist to help Hickory past Sharon.
