Oct. 19, 2021 Soccer: Karns City, Warren, North East, Erie Boys All Get Shutout Wins

SHARON, Pa. – Karns City scored all six of its goals in the second half in a 6-0 win over Sharon.

Bradon Slater and Myles McCully scored two goals each for the Gremlins. Colson Ritzert and Lathan Price scored the other goals for Karns City.

Luke Yasika got the shutout in net for the 14-2 Gremlins.

WARREN 2, FRANKLIN 0

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Parks Ordiway and JT Blum both scored as Warren earned a share of the Region 4 title with a 2-0 win over Franklin.

Ordiway’s goal came off a corner kick.

Will Nebinski had the clean sheet in net for the Dragons.

SLIPPERY ROCK 3, RIVERSIDE 1

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. – Nick Kingerski scored a pair of goals to help Slippery Rock to a 3-1 win over Riverside.

Hunter Berry had the other tally for the Rockets.

NORTH EAST 3, FORT LEBOEUF 0

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Three different North East players scored in a 3-0 win over Fort LeBoeuf.

Shane Keith, Tommy Hartner and Everett Osborne all found the back of the net for North East.

ERIE 6, BRADFORD 0

ERIE, Pa. – Six different Erie players scored in a 6-0 win over Bradford.

Paul Katende, Ahmed Saadoon, Charles Lokole, Espoir Mayele, Henry Olango and Joel Lee all scored for the Royals.

MCDOWELL 4, HARBOR CREEK 3

ERIE, Pa. – Josh Salmon scored a pair of goals as McDowell edged Harbor Creek.

Andrew Danch and Max Murphy also scored for the Trojans.

GENERAL MCLANE 7, MEADVILLE 0

MEADVILLE, Pa. – RJ King and Cooper Robson scored two goals each as General McLane blanked Meadville.

David Price, Zack Rolland and Owen Larmon also scored for the Lancers.

SENECA 4, IROQUOIS 0

LAWRENCE PARK, Pa. – Logan Kibbe, Ronan Calihan, Shawn Renner and Reed Yost all scored as Seneca blanked Iroquois.

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Danielle Wood scored four goals as Brockway earned a 5-1 win over Ridgway.

Bailey Allison also scored for Brockway.

Abby Macafee scored for Ridgway.

HICKORY 4, CONNEAUT (Pa.) 1

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Ella Vance scored a pair of goals and had an assist as Hickory beat Conneaut, 4-1.

Izzy Hochstetler and Lauren Harkless also scored for the Hornets, while Abby Cozad had two assists and Cecelia Perman.

MERCER 5, SHARPSVILLE 1

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – Mercer’s Julia Balaski tallied four more girls as the Mustangs beat Sharpsville, 5-1.

Devyn Bailey also scored for Mercer.

GENERAL MCLANE 7, MEADVILLE 1

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Sydney Rotko had a hat trick as GM earned a 7-1 win over Meadville.

Brooklyn Respecki scored two goals and Abby Walker and Teaghan Watkins also tallied goals for the Lancers.
