VILLA MARIA 3, FORT LEBOEUF 2

ERIE, Pa. – Kasey Smith and Karlee Berchtold tallied 10 kills each to help Villa Maria hand Fort LeBoeuf its first loss of the season, 3-2 (22-25, 25-23, 14-25, 26-24, 15-13).

Smith added six blocks and Willa Regal ran the Victors’ offense with 26 assists.

Audrey Friedman led the Bison with 14 kills and five blocks. Lauren Dahn had 11 kills and 15 digs, Jordan Popowski had 21 digs and Kerringten Wasiulewski (25) and Mackenzie Kulik (16) combined for 41 assists.

KANE 3, ST. MARYS 1

KANE, Pa. – Audri Marconi had 17 kills and 23 digs to lead Kane to a 3-1 (25-12, 25-27, 25-14, 25-18) win over visiting St. Marys.

Ronnie Costanzo and Kelsie Alexander had 11 kills each and Sarris Swanson added nine kills and five blocks for the Wolves. Emma Ely dished out 34 assists.

Samantha Vavala had 27 digs for St. Marys with Olivia Dunmire adding 25. Lindsey Reiter had a team-best seven kills.

SHEFFIELD 3, BROCKWAY 0

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Sheffield used a balanced offensive attack to pick up its fourth straight win, 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-15) at Brockway.

Emily Leichtenberger led the way with nine kills, while Kassidy Orinko and Lynzie Grubbs added eight each. Kadence Steffan ran the offense with 23 assists. Defensively, Maddy Roell and Annabel Sheldon combined for 19 digs.

YOUNGSVILLE 3, EISENHOWER 2

RUSSELL, Pa. – Youngsville battled back from an 0-2 deficit to pick up a 3-2 (14-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-13) win at Eisenhower.

Kamryn Weissinger had 19 kills and 14 digs for the Eagles. Kenzie Olewine added 10 kills and 23 digs, while Mikayla Eyler had nine kills and 13 digs. Jena Wilson dished out 51 assists and added five kills.

COUDERSPORT 3, SMETHPORT 0

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Paige Watson had nine kills and Sarah Atherholt and Bella Butler seven each to lead Coudersport to a 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-21) win over visiting Smethport.

Atherholt added eight digs and Butler had seven. Watson served up four aces and Liz Frame dished out 14 assists for the Falcons.

Baylee Fitzsimmons led the Hubbers with 14 digs and four aces. Kaylee Swanson added 10 digs and Madi Faes had seven digs and five assists.

HICKORY 3, SLIPPERY ROCK 2

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Kelsey Gargano and Aniyah Anderson each had 14 kills to lead Hickory to a come-from-behind 3-2 (25-21, 22-25, 14-25, 25-15, 15-12) victory at Slippery Rock.

Anderson completed a double-double with 10 digs, while Raeley Gargano had a triple-double with 12 kills, 21 set assists and 14 digs.

CLARION 3, KARNS CITY 0

CLARION, Pa. – Aryana Girvin had eight kills to help Clarion sweep visiting Karns City (25-14, 25-3, 25-21).

Erica Selfridge chipped in six kills for the Lady Cats with Korrin Burns adding five kills and six digs. Jordan Best contributed five digs, and Brenna Campbell 17 set assists, six aces and four digs.

         

Ashley Fox had four digs and three blocks for Karns City, while Amber Mauer added five digs, a kill and a set assists and Shavon McCanna eight digs.

KEYSTONE 3, CLARION-LIMESTONE 1

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Sydney Bell had nine kills to help Keystone to a hard-fought, 3-1 (25-17, 25-14, 16-25, 28-26), victory at Clarion-Limestone.

Emma Burrows paced the defense with 11 digs, while Alysssa Weaver chipped in seven aces and eight set assists and Alexandria Johnston nine set assists and four aces.

Celia Shaffer paced C-L with five kills and four aces, while Ruby Smith added four kills, six blocks, seven digs and three aces. Kendall Dunn had 10 set assists.

GALETON 3, AUSTIN 0

GALETON, Pa. – Six kills, three digs and three aces from Alexis Johnson helped Galeton to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-14) home win over Austin.

Makenna Shuemaker added eight digs, five aces, a kill and six set assists for the Lady Tigers who also got three kills, four set assists, four digs and three aces from Lauren Sauley and four kills, three aces and two blocks from Alli Macensky.

Marah Fowler had 11 set assists and 10 digs for Austin, while Shaylynn Nichols added 10 digs, Ella Brewer eight digs and Kendra Valenti five kills.

CAMERON COUNTY 3, NORTHERN POTTER 0

ULYSSES, Pa. – Kalee Bresslin’s 10 kills and five digs led visiting Cameron County to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-21) win over Northern Potter.

Hailey Hilfiger added nine kills and Morgan Lorenzo eight for the Lady Raiders, while Reggie Goodrow ran the offense with 29 set assists.

Rebecca Martin had six kills for Northern Potter with Abbie Cady adding five.

NORTH CLARION 3, VENANGO CATHOLIC 0

OIL CITY, Pa. – Sarah Aaron’s 22 set assists and nine digs helped pace a 3-0 (25-17, 25-8, 25-19) North Clarion road win over Venango Catholic.

Makenzie Lupole had seven kills for the She-Wolves who also got 11 digs from Alana Brooks.

Lauren Ronchi had three kills and two blocks for Venango Catholic who also got four kills, seven set assists and three aces from Meadows Hartle and nine digs, three aces and two kills from Lily Homan.

OTTO-ELDRED 3, OSWAYO VALLEY 2

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Haley Cousins, Reilly Raught and Morgan Dalton each had 11 kills to help visiting Otto-Eldred to a 3-2 (21-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-27, 15-10) win over Oswayo Valley.

Cousins added 15 digs and three aces, Raught eight digs, eight blocks and three aces and Dalton 12 digs and five aces. The Lady Terrors also got 15 digs from Anna Merry and 30 set assists, 12 digs and two aces from Emmalee Sheeler.

Macy West paced Oswayo Valley with 15 kills, 18 digs, 12 blocks and two aces. Jadyn Brabham added 19 kills, 23 digs, two aces and three blocks and Mackenzie George had 14 digs and 13 set assists.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 3, PORT ALLEGANY 0

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Maddie Marzullo had eight kills in a 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-20) Elk County Catholic win at Port Allegany.

Brooke Bauer chipped in seven kills, Julia Aikens had six and Gabby Weisner five for the Lady Crusaders. Moira Stanisch ran the offense with 25 set assists and added four aces, and Tami Geci paced the defense with 20 digs.

MAPLEWOOD 3, MEADVILLE 0

GUYS MILLS, Pa. – Chloe Leech had 14 kills and 13 digs to lead Maplewood to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-14) win over visiting.

Sadie Thomas added 11 kills, 12 digs and six aces for the Tigers with Kaysee Thomas contributing nine kills, Madison Crawford 11 digs and Bailey Varndell 33 set assists.

CRANBERRY 3, FOREST AREA 0

TIONESTA, Pa. – Ava Ferringer served eight aces to help visiting Cranberry roll to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-14) win over Forest Area at West Forest.

Maria Anderson added four kills and two aces for the Berries who also got three kills and three aces from Mackenzie Karnes and four kills from Brooke Hart.

SAEGERTOWN 3, ROCKY GROVE 0

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Saegertown swept visiting Rocky Grove, 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-11).

Alexis Clark had 13 digs for Rocky Grove with Courtnee Clark adding 11 digs and two aces and Kennedi Winslow two kills and three aces.

Saegertown stats weren’t available.

WARREN 3, TITUSVILLE 0

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Jordan Sitler’s nine kills and three aces helped Warren to a 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-14) road win over Titusville.

Halee Mineweaser ran the offense for the Dragons with 28 set assists and three digs, Katie Madigan added 10 digs and four aces, Carly Beer had six kills and Hannah Shattuck added four kills, seven digs and two aces.
