Northwestern’s Tewell Named Week Four 2021 District 10 Jim Kelly POW Powered by the Allegheny Grille

WARREN, Pa. – Northwestern quarterback Ryan Tewell set a single-game school passing record with 316 yards and tied the single-game record with five passing touchdowns in a 48-12 win over Saegertown. In doing he is the D9and10Sports.com District 10 Jim Kelly Football Player of the Week powered by the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg for Week Four of the 2021 season.

Receiver Eric Steinle had 208 of those receiving yards from Tewell (also a school record). Tewell’s touchdown passes went to five different receivers as the Wildcats improved to 3-0.

There were a number of standout performances across the District, as you can see below.

Jim Kelly is the Hall of Fame quarterback of the Buffalo Bills who grew up in East Brady, Pa. and went to Miami (Fla). Kelly was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 after passing for over 45,000 yards as a pro, including two seasons in the USFL, with 320 career touchdown passes. He led the Bills to four straight AFC Titles. Kelly’s name on the award is being used with his permission.
