North Clarion Volleyball Out because of COVID

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – The North Clarion volleyball team has been shut down until at least its Sept. 27 game vs. Punxsutawney because of COVID-19 concerns.

The She-Wolves game Tuesday, Sept. 14, vs. Moniteau was canceled as well as the Thursday, Sept. 16 game with Union, the Tuesday, Sept. 21 game with A-C Valley and the Friday, Sept. 24 game with Venango Catholic.

North Clarion is the third District 9 volleyball team forced out of action by COVID-19 on Tuesday, Sept. 14, joining Sheffield, which is shut down until at least its tournament Sept. 25, and Redbank Valley, which was forced to postpone its game with Clarion Tuesday night and is shut down for an unspecified length of time.

Meanwhile, Keystone was forced to play shorthanded Tuesday in a win over Karns City because of COVID-19 issues.
