KNOX, Pa. – North Clarion’s Kaine McFarland and Brynn Siegel won their respective cross country races against Keystone on Tuesday, as both teams beat the host Panthers by identical 22-33 scores.
McFarland won the boys’ race in 19:54.4 and Siegel the girls’ race in 23:54.2. North Clarion’s Aiden Thomas finished second in the boys’ race and Keystone’s Cailyn Heilman second in the girls’ race.
ROCKY GROVE BOYS WIN A PAIR
COCHRANTON, Pa. – The Rocky Grove boys’ cross country team raced to a 25-31 over Oil City and a 25-34 triumph over Cochranton.
Oil City, which beat Cochranton 25-34, got a first-place finish from Jack Mumford in a time of 17:39, edging Chase Miller of Cochranton (17:45).
Three through 10 was as follows: Evan Wolfgang (Rocky Grove, 18:04), Elijah Broscious (Oil City, 18:17), Landon Homa (Cochranton, 18:39), Easton Adamczyk (Rocky Grove, 18:50), Iassc Clayton (Rocky Grove, 18:54), Schiffer Anderson (Rocky Grove, 19:03), Lance Axton (Cochranton, 19:11) and Cam Weller (Oil City, 19:16)
