BEAVER, Pa. – Nico Catalde and Braeden Martin scored two goals each as McDowell hockey rolled to a 7-1 win over Blackhawk.
One of Catalde’s goals was shorthanded, while Martin scored once on the power play.
Zane Lewis stopped 27 of 28 shots in net for the Trojans.
Matt Smith, Nico Valentine and Alex Lim also scored for McDowell. It was the first varsity goal for Valentine.
Catalde also had two assists, Bryce Peterson, Martin, Tommy Vanderlip (2), Smith, Gino Heenan and Logan Pierce also had helpers.
