ERIE, Pa. – Andy Trost led a balanced effort with nine kills and five digs as McDowell beat Cathedral Prep, 3-0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-11).
Also pacing the Trojans were Daniel Easly (six digs), Mark Sanford (eight kills), Will Dean (11 assists), Jack Wilcox (5 kills), Phillip Schweitzer (six assists), RJ Nagg (nine assists), and Judah Jones (five kills).
For Prep, Jordan Haas had five assists and two aces and Ridgeway Case five kills.
CONNEAUT 3, ROCKY GROVE 1
SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. – CASH topped rocky Grove 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-16, 25-20).
Wyatt Gregory (10 points, six kills, eight digs), Alex Zins (16 points, five kills, eight blocks), Blayne Baker (13 points, two kills, five digs), Camron King (two kills, four blocks), Joshua Stevenson (15 points, two aces, six blocks), Dustin McMullen (five points), Avery Purich (15 points, four digs), Silas Adams (five points, two digs), and Logan Patterson (one kill, one block) led Rocky Grove.
