ERIE, Pa. – McDowell High School Sports are on hold.
The Millcreek School District has decided to transition to all remote education after having seven positive cases of COVID-19, which is one fewer than the eight that would automatically trigger remote learning. But in a letter, Superintendent Ian Roberts said the district was moving to remote learning because of the potential for community spread.
A second letter from McDowell Athletic Director Mark Becker said that all contests and extra-curricular activities for student-athletes are postponed until further notice. That includes the football game with Erie High School slated for Friday.
