CLARION 56, CRANBERRY 47

CLARION, Pa. – Erica Selfridge came alive in the second half to help Clarion overcome a 10-point halftime deficit and beat visiting Cranberry, 56-47.

                                      

The Lady Cats trailed 26-16 at halftime but rode the hot hand of Selfridge, who scored 18 of her game-high 24 points after halftime.

Selfridge scored eight in the third quarter to help Clarion get back within three, 34-31, going to the fourth quarter.

The senior continued her scoring ways in the fourth quarter hitting a pair of 3-pointers and scoring 10 points in a 25-point quarter for the Lady Cats. The output was unexpected considering Clarion hadn’t scored more than 29 points in any of its last three games going into Monday night.

Noel Anthony and Jordan Best each added nine points for the Lady Cats.

Ava Ferringer paced Cranberry with 22 points with Kaia Dean adding 10.

KEYSTONE 50, REDBANK VALLEY 24

KNOX, Pa. – Emily Lauer scored 24 points to lead Keystone to a 50-24 beating of visiting Redbank Valley, 50-24.

Natalie Bowser added 13 points for the Lady Panthers, who led 29-9 at halftime.

Also for Keystone, Jozee Weaver chipped in with eight points.

Madison Foringer led Redbank Valley with 11 points with Alivia Huffman chipping in seven points.

KANE 53, JOHNSONBURG 41

KANE, Pa. – Sarri Swanson, Madi Koza, and Rainee Wright combined to score 33 points to lead Kane past visiting Johnsonburg, 53-41.

Swanson led the Lady Wolves with 12 points, Koza added 11 points, and Wright chipped in 10 points.

                                   

Alanna Sherry paced Johnsonburg with 13 points with Ella Lindberg adding seven points, 13 rebounds, and three steals. Kaci Stelene also scored 12 points to go with six rebounds and three steals.

BROOKVILLE 50, CURWENSVILLE 28

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Using an 18-0 second-half run, visiting Brookville ran past Curwensville, 50-28.

The Lady Raiders were up one, 23-22, when the run started.

Alayna Haight knocked down four 3-pointers on her way to 25 points to lead Brookville, while Liz Wonderling added 11 points.

Alyssa Bakaysa had a double-double for Curwensville with 21 points and 14 rebounds.

DUBOIS 59, CLARION-LIMESTONE 48

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Abby Guiher led a balanced DuBois attack with 15 points, as the visiting Lady Beavers beat Clarion-Limestone, 59-48.

Olivia Johnson chipped in 12 points for DuBois with Saige Weible and Taylor Smith each adding nine tallies.

Frances Milliron netted a season-high 27 points for C-L. It was three off her career-high of 30 points which came Jan. 13, 2020, vs. Clarion.

ST. MARYS 58, SMETHPORT 24

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Samantha Hayes knocked down seven shots and scored 18 points to lead Smethport past visiting Smethport, 58-24.

Jayssa Snelick added 14 points for the Lady Dutch who also got 11 from Kyla Johnson.

                                  

Danielle Nelson scored seven for Smethport.

A-C VALLEY 49, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 42

FOXBURG, Pa. – A 16-point night from Rachel Cullen helped A-C Valley beat visiting DuBois Central Catholic, 49-42.

Andrea Meals, Mea Ielase, and Avah Burke each added eight points for the Lady Falcons, who also got seven from Mia Sherman.

Faith Jacob paced DCC with 14 points with Rose Whipple adding 11.
