BRADFORD, Pa. – Hannah Lary became the 13th player in Bradford girls’ basketball history to score 1,000 career points when she hit a 3-pointer with 4:12 left in the first quarter against visiting Port Allegany Thursday night.

Lary needed four points coming into the night to reach 1,000 points and quickly hit a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter, including the milestone shot from the right wing.

The first 1,000-point scorer at Bradford since Bri Wells in 2017, Lary talked about the accomplishment on a Zoom call with D9and10Sports.com’s Chris Rossetti.

Lary finished the game, a 52-29 Port Allegany victory, with 12 points giving her 1,008 in her career. She has scored 37 points in two games this season.
