Keystone’s Ava Patrick Sets School Mark in Triple Jump

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Freshman Ava Patrick set the Keystone school record in the triple jump Tuesday in a tri-meet with Union/A-C Valley and Cranberry at Union High School.

Patrick jumped 33-feet, 3 1/4 inches and finished second in both portions of the tri-meet, which featured three of the top jumpers in District 9.

Laiyla Russell of Cranberry won the triple jump in the Cranberry/Keystone meet with a leap of 33-11, while Baylee Blauser took home the triple jump in the Union-A-C Valley/Keystone meet with a jump of 34-6.

The previous Keystone record was 33-3 set in 1998 by Erin Switzer.
Cranberry defeated Keystone, 83-67, and Union/A-C Valley, 83-60. The final score of the Keystone/Union-ACV meet was not available.
