Kennedy Catholic’s DiNardo Reaches 1,000-Point Milestone in Win Over Farrell

FARRELL, Pa. – For Dad.

Kennedy Catholic’s Bellah DiNardo etched her name in the history books, joining the prestigious 1,000-point club in Thursday’s 67-39 Region 1 win over Farrell.

“I’d like to thank my KC family, my Bruins family, and my Mom and Dad,” DiNardo said. “Rest in peace Dad, this is for you!.”

DiNardo needed four points coming into the game to reach the milestone, and got it with a jumper in the second quarter.

She becomes the 11th player in program history to reach 1,000 points, per Bob Greenburg of 96.7 FM.

KC led 44-21 at halftime en route to the win.

DiNardo finished with a game-high 16 points, while Paris Gilmore and Isabella Bianco netted 15 each and Layke Fields 10 for KC (5-1).

Demariah Burns had 12 points and Sanaa Brodie eight for Farrell.
