KARNS CITY, Pa. – Karns City edged Moniteau 78-72 for the KSAC girls track and field championship on Tuesday, with Karns City finishing 7-0.
Triple winners for Karns City were Chloe Fritch in wins 100 hurdles, 300 hudrlres, and 4 x 400, and Sophia Bonetto in the 1600, 4 x 400, and 4 x 800. Miley Mooney was a double winner in 3200 and 4 x 800.
Moniteau’s Jenna Zendron was a triple winner in 100, 400, and 4 x 100. Moniteau’s 4 x 100 of Allie Pry, Katie Recott, Rylee Long, and Jenna Zendron broke their school record with a time of 52.1.
