GIRLS

UNION CITY 48, YOUNGSVILLE 24

UNION CITY, Pa.- Eliza Reynolds poured in 18 points as Union City toppled Youngsville. 

Union City outscored Youngsville in every quarter, including 14-5 in the third to take control. 

                                      

Sophia Messenger added eight points for the winners, while Madi Stevenson had eight points to pace the Lady Eagles. 

WARREN 62, MAPLEWOOD 49

WARREN, Pa. – Emma Ruhlman scored 21 points and Riley Childress 19 to lead Warren to its second win in as many days, 62-49 over Maplewood. 

The Tigers led early on the strength of three Izzy Eimer 3-pointers, but Warren rallied to take a 35-27 halftime lead. 

Teagan Paris scored seven of her 11 points in the second half for Warren, while Sadie Thomas had 15 of her 17 in the second half for Maplewood. 

                          

Ruhlman was 13-of-14 from the free throw line in the win and Childress 7-of-9.

It was the second win in as many days for the Lady Dragons.

SAEGERTOWN 54, EISENHOWER 15

SAEGERTOWN, Pa.- Ava Jones scored 11 points to lead a balanced scoring effort as Saegertown defeated Eisenhower. 

Maggie Braymer and Averie Braymer scored 10 points apiece for the winners, who led 39-7 at halftime. 

Mackenzie Dunn had seven points to pace Eisenhower. 

HARBOR CREEK 47, GIRARD 41

HARBORCREEK, Pa. – Samantha Zank scored 17 points and Lily Pulvino 15 to lead Harbor Creek to a hard-fought 47-41 win over Girard. 

                                   

Kayla Sherman scored 20 points to lead Girard, which trailed by 12 going into the fourth quarter. 

VILLA MARIA 49, TYRONE 26

ERIE, Pa. – Rachel Majewski scored 13 points to lead a balanced Villa Maria attack in a 49-26 win over Tyrone. 

Crissa Dunham and Daniela Shaughnessy scored nine points apiece for the Victors, who led 23-13 at the half. 

SENECA 58, COCHRANTON 43

WATTSBURG, Pa. – Lexie Moore poured in 20 points but it wasn’t enough as Cochranton fell on the road at Seneca. 

BOYS

FRANKLIN 58, GREENVILLE 47

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Easton Fulmer poured in 21 points as Franklin outlasted Greenville, 58-47, for the Knights’ second win in as many days. 

Hayden Adams added 18 for Franklin, which outscored Greenville 27-20 in the second half. Adams hit a pair of fourth quarter 3’s to help seal the win for the host Knights. 

Ben Cano had a strong game for the Trojans with 16 points, while Jalen Ritzert added 11. 

CORRY 71, UNION CITY 33

CORRY, Pa. – Logan Joncas scored 23 points and Nick Brundage 20 as Corry rolled to a 71-33 win over Union City. 

The Beavers led 18-5 after the first quarter of play and never looked back. 

Rylan Smith was also in double figures for the winners with 10 points. 

                                  

Cole DeSimone and Kyler Shaffer had nine points apiece for the Bears. 

HARBOR CREEK 53, MCDOWELL 39

HARBORCREEK, Pa. – Sam Howell scored 14 points and Casey Smith 12 as Harbor Creek earned its second win in as many days, 53-39 over McDowell. 

The win was No. 100 for coach Ryan Smock. 

The Huskies outscored the Trojans by nine in the fourth quarter. 

Jaden Harper poured in 21 of McDowell’s 39 points. 

Jaden Rocco added nine points and Ryan Whitman eight for Harbor Creek. 

JAMESTOWN 62, CRAWFORD CHRISTIAN 18

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – Jamestown rolled to a win over Crawford Christian behind 25 points from Peyton McElhinny. 

Cam Keyser added 19 points for the Muskies. 

ERIE 78, ERIE FIRST CHRISTIAN 52

ERIE, Pa. – Jamie Smith erupted for 31 points as Erie High powered past Erie First Christian, 78-52. 

Marquell Darnell added 15 points for the Royals. 

Evan Montefiori had 21 points and Aaron Collins 19 for EFC.
