BROCKWAY 46, BROOKVILLE 33

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Danielle Wood had 20 points, six assists, and four steals as Brockway earned a 46-33 non-conference win over Brookville.

The Lady Rovers used a 16-2 run in the second quarter to take an 18-point halftime lead en route to the win. Wood scored 17 of her 20 points in the first half.

                                      

Selena Buttery 11 points, nine rebounds, and five blocks for Brockway, while Ciara Morelli had eight points and four steals and Madelyn Schmader five points and 10 rebounds.

Alayna Haight led Brookville with 10 points, while Elisa Molnar and Elizabeth Wonderling tallied seven apiece.

MONITEAU 42, KARNS CITY 36

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Kendall Sankey scored six of her 10 points in the third quarter to help Moniteau overcome a one-point halftime deficit and pick up a 42-36 win at rival Karns City in KSAC Large School action.

The Lady Warriors, who were outscored 17-5 in the second quarter, trailed 25-24 at halftime before outscoring the Lady Gremlins 18-11 in the second half including 9-4 in the third quarter.

                          

Catherine Kelly helped out in the second half, as well, scoring seven of her team-high 12 points in the fourth quarter. She completed a double-double with 10 rebounds.

Abbey Jewart also chipped in eight points for Moniteau, and Victoria Pry had seven points and five steals.

Emma Johns had eight of her game-high 13 points in the second quarter for Karns City.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 50, CRANBERRY 10

SENECA, Pa. – Frances Milliron scored a game-high 21 points to lead visiting Clarion-Limestone to a 50-10 win over Cranberry in KSAC Large School play.

Kendall Dunn and Alex Leadbetter each added 11 points for the Lady Lions.

Ayanna Ferringer led Cranberry with four points.

REDBANK VALLEY 80, KEYSTONE 22

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Nine different Redbank Valley players scored, as the Lady Bulldogs cruised to an 80-22 win over visiting Keystone in KSAC Large School action.

Freshman Mylee Harmon had a game-high 18 points for Redbank Valley with Alivia Huffman adding 16.

                                   

Also reaching double figures for the Lady Bulldogs were Caylen Rearick with 11 and Madison Foringer and Claire Clouse with 10 each.

Natalie Bowser scored 12 points for Keystone.

CLARION 39, A-C VALLEY 14

FOXBURG, Pa. – Behind 19 points and eight rebounds from Payton Simko, shorthanded Clarion rolled past A-C Valley, 39-14.

Taylor Alston added six points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Cats, who were without four regulars, including leading scorer Jordan Best.

Baylee Blauser paced A-C Valley with nine points.

MARION CENTER 54, DUBOIS 46

DUBOIS, Pa. – A 25-point effort from Lydia Miller led visiting Marion Center to a 54-46 win over DuBois.

Miller was 10-for-10 from the free-throw line including 8 of 8 in the fourth quarter and also hit three 3-pointers in the contest.

Kaelee Elkin added 15 points for the Stingers.

Alexa Pfeuffer led DuBois with 10 points with Madison Rusnica adding nine and Allie Snyder eight.
