GROVE CITY, Pa. – General McLane is in second place out of 41 teams after day one of the Fred Bell Tournament.

                        

The Lancers have 84.5 points, trailing only Penns Valley (87.5 points). Meadville is in fourth with 76 points and Cranberry is fifth with 74 points.

The following District 9 and 10 wrestlers are through to the quarterfinals.

EIGHT D9/10 WRESTLERS THROUGH TO SEMIS AT ULTIMATE WARRIOR

                              

MORRISDALE, Pa. – Led by a pair of Hickory Hornets and Port Allegany Gators, a total of eight D9/10 wrestlers are through to the semifinals at the Ultimate Warrior Tournament.

Hickory’s Brody Bishop (107) and Connor Saylor (139), as well as Port Allegany’s Miska Young (215) and Carson (285), advanced to the semis in the packed field.

FIVE BISON ADVANCE TO SEMIS AT THOMAS AUTOMOTIVE TOURNAMENT

                          

BEDFORD, Pa. – A total of five Clearfield wrestlers are through to the semifinals at the Thomas Automotive Tournament at Bedford High School.

Advancing for the Bison were Cash Diehl (107), Evan Davis (121), Colton Ryan (127), Brady Collins (139) and Carter Chamberlain (189).
