PUNXSUTAWNEY 48, BRADFORD 22

BRADFORD, Pa. – A big night from Chloe Presloid helped visiting Punxsutawney to a 48-22 win over Bradford in D9 League action.

Presloid had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds while adding six steals and four assists.

Kiersten Riley added 10 points, four rebounds, four steals, three assists, and a blocked shot for the LadyChucks, who also got nine points, four rebounds, two steals, two assists, and a blocked shot from Danielle Griebel.

                                      

Alanna Benson led Bradford with eight points with Kalie Dixon adding seven.

SMETHPORT 40, PORT ALLEGANY 27

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Behind 19 points, seven rebounds, and four steals from Elizabeth Hungiville, visiting Smethport took home a 40-27 NTL win over Port Allegany.

Abby Lutz added 13 points for the Lady Hubbers who also got eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks, two points, and a steal from Sabrina Tanner and eight rebounds, three blocks, two points, and an assist from Coryn McLain.

Leigha Nelson had eight points to pace Port Allegany with Kayleigha Dowell adding six points and nine rebounds and Ella Moses two points, six rebounds, and three assists.

                          

CAMERON COUNTY 34, GALETON 27

GALETON, Pa. – Visiting Cameron County got five fourth-quarter points apiece from Delaney Rowan and Mikenna Farabaiugh to pull away from Galeton, 34-27, in NTL action.

The Lady Raiders led by just one, 22-21, going to the fourth quarter before both Rowan and Farabaugh hit 3-pointers in the quarter to help widen the gap.

Farabaugh led Cameron County with 12 points with Aubree Lorenzo scoring 10, all in the second quarter, and Rowan eight.

OTTO-ELDRED 51, NORTHERN POTTER 23

ULYSSES, Pa. – Katie Sheeler and Bri Heller combined for 29 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals to help Otto-Eldred cruise to a 51-23 road NTL win over Northern Potter.

Sheeler led the Lady Terrors with 17 points while adding five rebounds, two steals, and a blocked shot, while Heller scored 12 points to go with six rebounds and four steals.

Anna Merry chipped in 14 points, two rebounds, and two steals in the win.

Rebecca Martin paced Northern Potter with seven points, five rebounds, and three steals with Abbie Cady chipping in four points and seven rebounds.

ST. MARYS 48, CLEARFIELD 36

                                   

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Eleven points apiece from Izzy Catalone and Jayssa Snelick helped St. Marys vanquish visiting Clearfield, 48-36.

Marua Caskey and Isabelle Caskey each added seven points for the Lady Dutch.

Hannah Glunt scored 14 points for Clearfield with Emma Hipps adding 13.

The second quarter proved to be the key turning point in the game.

Clearfield led 18-14 at the end of the first quarter but didn’t score in the second quarter getting outscored 10-0 helping St. Marys take a 24-18 halftime lead that grew to 38-23 by the end of the third quarter.

DUBOIS 44, BELLEFONTE 18

DUBOIS, Pa. – Madison Rusnica led a balanced DuBois attack with 10 points, as the Lady Beavers took care of visiting Bellefonte, 44-18.

Lynx Lander added eight points and Izzy Geist-Salone seven for DuBois, which had nine different players score.

Emma Rossman netted four points for Bellefonte.
