FRANKLIN, Pa. – Sharpsville got pins from Alex Rueberger (126 pounds), Caullin Summers (138), Wyatt Sternthal (172) and Michael Brennemann (215) on their way to a 39-28 win over Franklin.
Josh Divens won a decision at 145 pounds for the Blue Devils.
Franklin received four forfeits and also got a win via major decision from Jonah Heckahorne at 160 pounds.
Sharpsville received one forfeit win and one match (132 pounds) went uncontested.
PUNXSUTAWNEY 33, CURWENSVILLE 30
PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Punxsutawney got a pair of falls, including late in the first period from Brady Smith at 160 pounds to secure a 33-30 win over Curwensville.
Dysen Gould also has a win via pin for the Chucks at 106 pounds.
Punxsy got wins by decision from Grant Miller (172), Josh Miller (189), and Brice Rowen (145).
Curwensville got pins from Duane Brady (285) and Zach Shaffer (138).
There were forfeits in five weight classes, with a no contest at 120.
