REDBANK VALLEY 42 MERCER 28

MERCER, Pa. — Redbank Valley and Mercer split their eight bouts on the mat, but the visiting Bulldogs won four bouts by pin and took advantage of three forfeit wins in a 42-28 victory over the host Mustangs.

The Mustangs got within 30-28 with two bouts remaining before Redbank Valley’s Aiden Gardner pinned Michael Stabile at 189 pounds and Kobe Bonnano decked Tristan Barr at heavyweight.

Redbank Valley’s other wins by pin were Duncan Blake over Nathan Schupp at 126 and Trenten Rupp over Avry Ryhal at 132. Mercer’s mat wins were Carson Filer’s 12-4 major over Dalton Bish at 138, Harrison Murray’s pin of Gavin Kerchinski at 145, Michael Berger’s pin of Baylee Anthony at 152 and Mason Hesslegesser’s pin of Noah Anderson at 170.

Redbank Valley won forfeits at 106, 113 and 120 while Mercer won a forfeit at 189. There was no bout contested at 160.

EISENHOWER 59, SENECA 7

RUSSELL, Pa. – Eisenhower received six wins via forfeit en route to a 59-7 win over Seneca. 

Cael Black won by tech fall for the Knights at 215, while Josh Parker (172), Mikael Beaver (189)  and Anthony Rivera (113) all won via fall for the Knights. 

Logan Platz (126) won by major decision for the Mustangs, while Ryan Miller (160) won via decision. 

COCHRANTON 45, FRANKLIN 18

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Cochranton won four matches via fall on their way to a 45-18 win over Franklin. 

Jack Martinec (126 pounds), Blake Foulk (138), Stetson Boozer (172) and Ramy Sample (215) all pinned their respective opponents for the Cardinals.

Ethan Shoup won by major decision for Cochranton at 120 pounds, while Willis Morrell won by tech fall at 145. 

Cochranton also won a pair of matches via forfeit. 

Cael Dailey earned a pin for Franklin, and the Knights also won two matches by forfeit.
