DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 60, KANE 49

DUBOIS, Pa. – Kayley Risser had a monster game with 30 points and 13 rebounds to lead DuBois Central Catholic to a 60-49 win over visiting Kane in AML action.

Jessy Frank also had a double-double for the Lady Cardinals with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Maya Smith paced Kane with 12 points with Cora Jekielek adding 11.

                                      

BROOKVILLE 44, BRADFORD 26

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Alayna Haight scored 17 points to help Brookville to a 44-26 D9 League victory over visiting Bradford.

Jordan Cook added 12 points in the win for the Lady Raiders.

Alanna Benson led Bradford with 11 points.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 46, NORTH CLARION 43

                          

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Frances Milliron and Kendall Dunn combined for 13 of Clarion-Limestone’s 17 third-quarter points, as the Lady Lions came out of halftime on fire on their way to a 46-43 win at North Clarion.

C-L trailed 27-22 at the break but outscored the She-Wolves 17-8 in the third quarter to take control of the game.

Dunn scored seven of her team-high 16 points in the quarter with Milliron adding six of her 15.

Gwen Siegel led North Clarion with 17 points with Emma McFarland adding nine.

CLARION 37, MONITEAU 24

CLARION, Pa. – Taylor Alston scored eight of her game-high 12 points in the second half to help Clarion pull away from visiting Moniteau, 37-24.

Clarion, being coached by acting head coach Sam Heeter because head coach Jess Quinn had a period engagement, led by two, 13-11, at halftime before outscoring Moniteau 16-8 in the third quarter behind five points from Noel Anthony and four from Alston, who also helped keep the lead in the fourth quarter by going 4 of 4 from the free-throw line.

Alston was named the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Game and talked about the win.

                                   

Payton Simko added eight points in the win for the Lady Cats.

Davina Pry led Moniteau with eight points.

KARNS CITY 36, VENANGO CATHOLIC 33

OIL CITY, Pa. – Emma Dailey scored six of her 12 points in the fourth quarter, as Karns City rallied past homestanding Venango Catholic, 36-33.

The Lady Gremlins led 18-9 at halftime but were outscored 19-5 in the third quarter and trailed 28-23 going to the final eight minutes before rallying for the victory.

Brooke Manuel added seven points in the win.

Lily Homan scored all but seven of her team’s points finishing with 26 points and six rebounds, including 15 third-quarter tallies.

Sadie Kalajmaka and Allison Stewart also each hauled down six boards for the Lady Vikings with each player also scoring two points.

PORT ALLEGANY 43, JOHNSONBURG 35

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Ella Moses and Kayleigha Dowell combined for 33 points and 15 rebounds to lead Port Allegany to a 43-35 home win over Johnsonburg.

Moses had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds while also adding four steals, and Dowell scored a game-high 17 points to go with five rebounds and three assists.

Evin Stauffer also had a solid all-around game for the Lady Gators with four points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals.

Kaci Stelene had a double-double for Johnsonburg with 16 points and 10 rebounds with Tess Kocjancic adding eight points, four rebounds, two steals, and an assist.

Also for the Ramettes, Mario Casilio contributed six points, six assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

                                  

UNION 51, KEYSTONE 31

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Dominika Logue scored 19 points and Keira Croyle added 17 to lead Union to a 51-31 victory over visiting Keystone.

Natalie Bowser and Emma Gruber each scored 11 points for Keystone.

A-C VALLEY 39, CRANBERRY 28

FOXBURG, Pa. – Behind 13 points and 12 rebounds from Baylee Blauser, A-C Valley took care of visiting Cranberry, 39-28.

Keira McVay added 10 points and five steals for the Lady Falcons who also got six points and six rebounds from Ava Snyder.

Ayanna Ferringer led Cranberry with seven points.

PENNS VALLEY 45, CLEARFIELD 37

HYDE, Pa. – In Mountain League action visiting Penns Valley got 19 points from Kailen Winkelblech to beat Clearfield, 45-37.

Emma Hipps led Clearfield with 12 points with Alayna Winters adding nine.

CURWENSVILLE/WEST BRANCH SUSPENDED AT HALFTIME

MORRISDALE, Pa. – The ICC North match between Curwensville and West Branch was suspended at halftime because of a reported gas leak at West Branch.

No score was reported nor was a date for the continuation of the game announced.
