MONITEAU 53, UNION 45

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Catherine Kelly tied her career-high with 22 points, as Moniteau overcame a 1-point halftime deficit to snap visiting Union’s seven-game win streak with a 53-45 victory.

Kelly, who also scored 22 points a week ago vs. Redbank Valley, netted 10 of Moniteau’s 14 third-quarter points to help the Lady Warriors take a 35-31 lead going to the fourth quarter. She added six rebounds.

Allie Pry added 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists for Moniteau with Victoria Pry chipping in 11 points and eight rebounds. Abbey Jewart handed out five assists.

                                      

Dominika Logue paced Union with 21 points with Kennedy Vogle adding 10, Keira Croyle seven.

NORTH CLARION 34, KEYSTONE 30

KNOX, Pa. – Gwen Siegel scored all of her team-high seven points in the first three quarters, as visiting North Clarion survived a scare from Keystone, 34-30.

Madison McFarland and Claire Kriebel each added six points for the She-Wolves, who led 19-12 at halftime and 31-24 going to the fourth quarter.

                          

Natalie Bowser had a big game for Keystone with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Emma Gruber added nine points.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 35, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 24

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Visiting Punxsutawney built a 10-point lead after one quarter on its way to a 35-24 road win over Elk County Catholic in D9 League play.

The Lady Chucks led 16-6 after eight minutes, and the lead grew to 31-13 going to the fourth quarter.

Chloe Presloid led the way for Punxsutawney with 16 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.

Kiersten Riley added four points, five rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

Tori Newton paced ECC with eight points with Syd Alexander chipping in seven.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 55, A-C VALLEY 24

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Putting three players in double digits, Clarion-Limestone rolled past visiting A-C Valley, 55-24.

Frances Milliron led the Lady Lions with 15 points, Alyssa Wiant added 12, and Kendall Dunn 10.

                                   

Also for C-L Lexi Coull chipped in nine tallies.

Mackenzie Parks led A-C Valley with nine points with Baylee Blauser adding seven points and eight rebounds.

GLENDALE 36, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 34

FLINTON, Pa. – A tough third quarter cost visiting DuBois Central Catholic in a 36-34 loss at Glendale.

The Lady Cardinals led 18-14 at halftime but were outscored 10-2 in the third quarter to go down 24-20.

In the fourth quarter, DCC rallied and got within one late, 35-34, before being forced to foul with about eight seconds left.

Riley Best hit one of two free throws to make it a two-point lead for the Lady Vikings.

DCC then ran a set play for Lexi Berta, but her 3-pointer at the horn was just off the mark.

Minyah Easterling, Glendale’s 6-foot-3 junior, led the way for the Lady Vikings with 18 points while freshman Madison Peterson added nine.

Marina Hanes paced DCC with 13 points with Jessy Frank adding 11.
