Inaugural Keith Miller Memorial Invitational High School Baseball All-Star Game Set for Friday; D9and10Sports Exclusive Broadcast Partner

DUBOIS, Pa. – The Inaugural Keith Miller Memorial Invitational High School Baseball All-Star game is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 18, at Showers Field in DuBois.

D9and10Sports.com is the exclusive broadcast partner of the game and will be airing the contest starting at approximately 6:15 p.m. There will be a live pregame show via C-93 radio starting at 3:15 p.m. featuring C-93 radio personalities.

The contest features 49 players representing 23 different high schools in District 9 and District 10. Rosters can be found here.

Teams will be coached by National Small College Coach of the Year Coach Tom Calliari of Penn State-DuBois and his Pitching Coach, Mike Nesbit. Penn State-DuBois has won the past three Small College World Series, all played at Showers Field in DuBois.

The game is named in honor of former Keystone coach and high school sports official Keith Miller, who passed away in 2019. The game was founded by Miller’s family including his wife, Ruby, and his sons, Chad and Brian.

               

The All-Star game is just a piece of a full weekend of activities in DuBois.

A Peak Sports Diagnostic Combine will also be held at Showers Field starting at 3:30 p.m. Friday with a youth baseball tournament being held all weekend long starting with games at 6 p.m. Friday at both Heindl and Way Fields in DuBois and continuing all day Saturday, June 19, (starting at 8 a.m. through 5 p.m.), and concluding Sunday, June 20, with games at Heindl and Way Fields between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and the championship game at Heindl Field at 5 p.m.

Also, on Saturday there will be a pro wrestling match (Ballpark Brawl) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Heindl Field.

All proceeds from the event go to the United Way.
