Hickory’s Gustas Fires School Record 67 To Lead Hornets To Region 1 Win

HUBBARD, OH – Hickory’s McKenzie Gustas shot a school-record 67 to lead the Hornets to a Region 1 Mega Match win at Deer Creek Golf Course.

Fellow Hornet Sasha Petrochko carded a 71 and Leah Benson 78. Emily Donahue shot 80 to pace Grove City.

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. Lizzie Sikora shot a 48 to lift the Punxsutawney girls (215) to a first-place tie with DuBois, followed by Brockway, Brookville and Curwensville.

CORRY, Pa. – Cathedral Prep’s Evan Rowane shot a 73 to win the North Hills Invitational and also pace the Ramblers to the team title.

Breckin Taylor carded a 76 for the Ramblers, while Slippery Rock’s Jacob Wolak shot a 78 and Corry’s Max Rimdzius 79. Corry Black finished second with a team total of 348.

DUBOIS, Pa. – Cody Jaconski fired a 39 to lead DuBois (168) past DuBois Central Catholic (203) and Brockway (216).

DuBois’ Tyson Kennis was second overall with a 40, followed by teammate Gavin Kaschalk (44) and DCC’s Carter Hickman (44)

CLARION WINS KSAC MATCH NO. 2

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Clarion’s Jackson Fox shot a 39 to lead Clarion to a first-place finish at KSAC Match No. 2 at Cross Creek Resort.

Clarion finished with a team total of 251.

Clarion-Limestone’s Hayden Siegel tied Fox for first with a 39, followed by Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing (43). The Warriors finished second in the team standings with a score of 251.
