BELLE VERNON, Pa. – The Hickory girls golf team captured the 11th annual Jerry Roman Memorial Chairman’s Cup at Cedarbrook Golf Course with a team score of 325.
Sasha Petrachko led the Hornets with a 73, followed directly by McKenzie Gustas with a 74. Luciana Masters carded an 87 and Ava Liburdi a 91 for the Hornets, who also got a 110 from Megan Bull.
South Fayette’s Caroline McConnell had the low individual round with a 71, while Peters Township finished second in the six-team field with a team score of 335.

REGION 2 MEGA MATCH
HERMITAGE, Pa. – Grove City had a team score of 335, led by Toby Matson’s 75 to take first place at the Region 2 mega match at Tam O’Shanter.
Slippery Rock’s Jacob Wolak had the best individual round, carding a 72. Wilmington’s Kaitlyn Hoover had the other round in the 70s with a 78.
Hickory finished second in the team standings with a total of 348, led by Aiden Enoch’s 80.
Also helping lead Grove City were Ethan Cunningham with an 82 and Logan Goodrich with an 84.
REGION 1 MEGA MATCH
MERCER, Pa. – Two Region 1 mega matches, two first-place finishes for Greenville. The Trojans had a team total of 366, beating second-place Lakeview, which had a total of 387.
Mercer’s Eli Ellison had the low individual round, carding an 86, followed by an 88 from Lakeview’s Adam Snyder.
The next three finishers were all Greenville – Brandon Stubert (89), Ty Csonka (90) and Nate Stuyvesant (91).
REGION 4 MEGA MATCH
TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Corry’s Maxx Rimdzius shot a 74 as Corry won a Region 4 mega match at Cross Creek.
Fellow Beaver Nate James carded an 83, while Titusville’s Tyler Durstine was second with an 82.
