Heller, Drummond Lead O-E Past Johnsonburg; Siple Tosses No-No for Curwensville, Forest Area Wins 4th Straight

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Bri Heller tossed a four-hitter to lead Otto-Eldred to a 4-2 win at Johnsonburg.

Heller struck out nine while allowing two runs, one earned.

Carrie Drummond was 1-for-3 with three RBIs for the Lady Terrors while Katie Sheeler went 2-for-4 with a triple and Kate Rhinehart was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Natalie Dunworth hit a home run for Johnsonburg and was 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs.

               

Julia Jones took the loss going seven innings allowing four runs, three earned, on seven hits and two walks while striking out 11.

CURWENSVILLE 9, PENNS MANOR 0

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Addison Siple tossed a no-hitter to lead Curwensville to a 9-0 win over Penns Manor.

Siple walked one, hit one, and struck out 18.

She also helped herself at the plate going 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.

                          

Addison Warren was also 2-for-2 with two walks and three runs, and Teagan Harzinski was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

KEYSTONE 12, CLARION-LIMESTONE 2, 6 INNINGS

KNOX, Pa. – Behind six RBIs from Natalie Bowser, Keystone beat visiting Clarion-Limestone, 12-2, in six innings.

Bowser went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, and three runs scored.

Emma Gruber had a four-hit day for the Lady Panthers going 4-for-4 with four runs scored, while Leah Exley was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.

               

Kaylee Smith was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored for C-L.

Exley got the wing going six innings allowing two unearned runs on four hits while striking out five.

Jenna Dunn took the loss going 5 ⅔ innings allowing 12 runs, six earned, on 10 hits and two hit batters while striking out eight.

FOREST AREA 10, KEYSTONE 6

KNOX, Pa. – Brenna Thompson had two doubles and three RBIs to help Forest Area to its fourth straight win thanks to a 10-6 victory at Keystone.

Out of the No. 9 hole, Thompson was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Faith Dietrich added three hits for the Fires going 3-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs, while Brooke Felleti also drove in a pair of runs going 1-for-4 with a run scored.

Bowser hit another home run for Keystone going 1-for-1 with three walks, two runs scored, and three RBIs.

Emilee Dixon added a pair of runs for the Lady Panthers going 1-for-4, while Lydia Sheatz was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

            

Izzy Flick got the win going seven innings allowing six runs, five earned, on seven hits, eight walks, and two hit batters while striking out 11.

Bowser took the loss going 4 ⅓ innings allowing nine runs, two earned, on six hits and a walk while striking out three.

BRADFORD 10, PORT ALLEGANY 0, 6 INNINGS

BRADFORD, Pa. – Kalie Dixon had herself a game.

The Bradford pitcher tossed a two-hit shutout and also had four hits, four RBIs, and three runs scored in the Lady Owls’ 10-0, six-inning win over visiting Port Allegany.

Dixon didn’t walk a batter, although she hit one, and struck out seven in needing just 64 pitches to go six innings in the circle.

At the plate, she was 4-for-4 with a triple and two doubles.

Kelsey Deming and Madison Dougherty each added three hits for Bradford with Deming going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and Dougherty going 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Alana Benson was also 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in the victory.

Emily Baumgarner had a double for Port Allegany.

MARION CENTER 9, BROOKVILLE 0

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Cheyenne Silvis tossed a three-hit shutout as Marion Center won on the road at Brookville, 9-0.

Silvis struck out 15 and didn’t walk a batter.

Mya Lipsie led the Stingers on offense going 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs while Silvis was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Natalie Black was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Cadence Suhan, Alyssa Tollini, and Laela Kammerdeiner each had hits for Brookville.

Natasha Rush took the loss going 6 ⅓ innings allowing eight runs, five earned, on 12 hits while striking out three.

DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 12, CLARION 3

PAINT TWP., Pa. – Rose Whipple drove in three runs to help DuBois Central Catholic to a 12-3 win over Clarion at the Clarion County Park.

Whipple was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Melia Mitskavich added a pair of doubles in the win going 2-for-3 with two walks, an RBI, and two runs scored while Jessy Frank was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, and Rylee Kulbatsky was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Lydia Morgan picked up the win for DCC going seven innings of four-hit ball. She gave up three earned runs while walking one and striking out 10.

Bri Forrest was 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI for Clarion while Hadlee Campbell went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, and Emily Mahle was 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

Haylee Cratsley took the loss going seven innings allowing 11 hits, three walks, and a hit batter. She was charged with 12 runs, five earned.

CLEARFIELD 16, PHILIPSBURG-OSCEOLA 6, 6 INNINGS

PHILIPSBURG, Pa. – Aevril Hayward drove in seven runs to lead Clearfield to a 16-6, six-inning win at Philipsburg-Osceola.

Hayward was 4-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored.

Ruby Singleton was also 3-for-3 with a double, two walks, two RBIs, and three runs scored for the Lady Bison, while Alaina Fedder was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Madi McBride went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, and two RBIs.

Haley Billotte was also 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBIs, and three runs scored for Clearfield.

Jocey Williams was 2-for-3 with an RBI for P-O.

Alaina Fedder got the win going six innings allowing six runs, four earned, on seven hits and five walks while striking out four.

Alivia Bizzarri took the loss going 5 ⅓ innings allowing 12 runs, 11 earned, on 16 hits and two walks while striking out 10.
