HUBBARD, Ohio. – Slippery Rock’s Jacob Wolak shot a 67 for low individual round, while Grove City edged Hickory 320-320 for first in the team standings at Wednesday’s Region 2 Mega Match at Deer Creek.
A pair of Grove City golfers, Tyler Hamilton and Toby Matson had the other sub-80 rounds, carding a 74 and a 75 respectively.
West Middlesex’s Caden Bender shot an 80, as did Slippery Rock’s Jack Hadley and Hickory’s Aiden Enoch, while Hickory’s Zach Lanshcak and Wilmington’s Garrett Heller each shot 81s.
West Middlesex was third in the team standings at 342.
