Glunt Helps Lift Clearfield Girls to Comeback Win; ECC, C-L, Redbank, Ridgway Dominate in Wins Dec. 20

HYDE, Pa. – Down one going to the fourth quarter, Clearfield got seven points from Hannah Glunt to rally past visiting Bald Eagle Area, 42-35.

The Lady Bison trailed 30-29 after the third quarter but Glunt hit a 3-pointer, a 2-pointer, and went 2 of 2 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to help them rally for the victory.

Riley Ryen also played a key fourth-quarter role going 5 of 6 from the line in the quarter.

Glunt led all scorers with 18 points with Ryen adding 16.

                                      

Abby Hoover had 13 points for BEA.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 50, KANE 30

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Tori Newton had 15 points and eight rebounds to lift Elk County Catholic to a 50-30 home win over Kane.

Lucy Klawuhn added 14 points and six steals in the win while Syd Alexander scored 11 points.

Leah Tigani led Kane with 10 points with Maya Smith adding nine.

                          

CLARION-LIMESTONE 53, CRANBERRY 20

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Lexi Coull led a trio of Clarion-Limestone players in double figures with 16 points, as the Lady Lions beat Cranberry, 53-20, on Senior Night at C-L.

Prior to the game, the Lady Lions honored Kendall Dunn. Dunn got the start despite being out for the season with a torn ACL.

Dunn’s younger sister, Jenna, added 12 points as did Alyssa Wiant for the Lady Lions. KK Sebastian-Sims chipped in with eight points.

Jadyn Shumaker scored 11 points for Cranberry.

REDBANK VALLEY 59, KEYSTONE 23

KNOX, Pa. – Mylee Harmon and Alivia Huffman combined to score 28 points, as Redbank Valley went on the road and beat Keystone, 59- 23.

Harmon led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points with Huffman adding 12.

Quinn White also scored eight for Redbank Valley, and Caylen Rearick chipped in with seven points.

Natalie Bowser had 15 points for Keystone.

                                   

RIDGWAY 51, BRADFORD 26

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Gabby Amacher had 16 points, 10 steals, and six assists to lift Ridgway to a 51-26 home win over Bradford.

Jenna Kasmierski added 12 points, four blocked shots, and three assists in the victory with Kristen Ellenberger chipping in 11 points.

Alanna Benson led Bradford with 12 points.

BELLWOOD-ANTIS 80, CURWENSVILLE 17

BELLWOOD, Pa. – Chelsea McCauslsky was one of four players in double digits for Bellwood-Anthis with 13 points, as the Blue Devils rolled visiting Curwensville, 8-17.

Lydia Worthing added 111 points with Jenna Norton and Leigha Clapper each scoring 10 points.,

Janelle Passmore paced Curwensville with six points.
