HERSHEY, Pa. – Fort LeBoeuf’s Audrey Friedman and Hickory’s Luca Bertolasio were both named first-team all-state in track and field by the Pennsylvania Track & Field Coaches Association (PTFCA), while Union/A-C Valley’s Hayden Smith, Evelyn Bliss and Baylee Blauser were also honored.

Friedman earned the honors in the girls’ javelin after taking home the PIAA Class 2A crown with a throw of 142-feet, 9-inches, while Bertolasio earned the honor in the boys’ long jump after winning the PIAA Class 2A title with a leap of 23-feet, 11-inches.
Smith was a second-team choice in the boys’ high jump after winning the PIAA Class 2A title with a jump of 6-feet, 5-inches.
Bliss took home third-team honors in the girls’ javelin after a PIAA Class 2A second-place finish behind Friedman with a throw of 140-feet, 11-inches.
Blauser earned honorable mention honors in the girls’ long jump after winning the PIAA Class 2A title with a leap of 18-feet, 6 3/4-inches.
The PTFC honored four individuals/relays per event regardless of classification or membership in the PIAA.
