Four District 9 Umpires Officiate PIAA 2A Baseball Championship Game

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Four District 9 umpires at the opportunity to officiate the PIAA Class 2A championship game Friday, June 18.

Kevin Roessner was the home player umpire, Bob Boyer was at first base, Ken Knepp was at second base, and Tim Mahoney was at third base when Schuykill Haven edged Shenango, 8-7, to win the PIAA title.
