LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Three District 9 alums and one former District 10 standout earned All-PSAC West first team softball honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.

The Gannon battery of seniors Kennedy and Kristina DeMatteis (Moniteau) were honored on the first team, as was IUP’s Kaitlyn Beers (DuBois) and Mercyhurst’s Cheyenne Hindman (Slippery Rock).

In addition, former General McLane standout Lauren Gierlak got a second-team nod.

The DeMatteis sisters helped lead Moniteau to a state championship game appearance in high school, and have enjoyed stellar collegiate careers.
