MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – A total of five District 9 and District 10 players, three from Reynolds and four total on the offensive side of the ball, earned Pennsylvania Football Writers Class 1A All-State honors.

Three of those players hail from Reynolds – running back Jalen Wagner, wide receiver Haydin McLaughlin, and offensive lineman Nate Leksell. The trio helped Reynolds to its third consecutive District 10 champion in 2022.

The fourth member of the offensive unit from D9/10 is Curwensville quarterback Dan McGarry, who earned his second-consecutive all-state selection from the sports writers. This was also Wagner’s second-straight selection, with the senior breaking the program’s single-season and career rushing marks in 2022.

The fifth member of the team from D9/10 was Lakeview junior Mitchell Tingley, who was selected a defensive athlete. Tingley had over 100 tackles and four interceptions.

Steel High’s Alex Erby was named Player of the Year, while Steel-High coach Andrew Erby was named Coach of the Year.
