BROCKWAY 48, JOHNSONBURG 47

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Noah Adams hit the first of a two-shot foul with 2.7 seconds left to lift Brockway to a 48-47 win over Johnsonburg in AML crossover action.

The Rovers trailed 37-35 going to the fourth quarter but were able to overcome poor fourth-quarter free-throw shooting to get the win.

Brockway was just 5 of 11 from the free-throw line in the final eight minutes but did get the one that made the difference from Adams.

                                      

Alex Carlson scored eight of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter hitting a pair of shots and going 4 of 8 from the line.

Adams added 14 points in the win.

Kole Asti led Johnsonburg with 14 points with Jefferson Freeburg adding 13.

ST. MARYS 47, PUNXSUTAWNEY 41, OVERTIME

ST. MARYS, Pa. – St. Marys outscored visiting Punxsutawney 6-0 in overtime to get a 47-41 D9 League victory.

                          

In the third D9 League game in two nights to go to overtime, the Dutch and the Chucks found themselves tied at 41 at the end of regulation before Quin Gavazzi hit a 3-pointer and Tanner Fox made 3 of 4 free throws in the extra session to give St. Marys the win.

Punxsutawney trailed by 12 going to the fourth quarter, 38-26, but rode the hot hand of Noah Weaver to a tie game at the end of regulation.

Weaver scored seven of his team-high 16 points in the fourth quarter hitting a pair of shots and going 3 of 3 from the line. Donnie Neese and Kyle Nesbitt each added four points during the comeback.

Gavazzi was locked in from deep Wednesday night hitting six triples on his way to 18 points, while Charlie Coudriet added eight points and Fox seven.

Gabe Kengersky chipped in nine points for Punxsutawney.

NORTHERN POTTER 62, OSWAYO VALLEY 47

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Tanyon Brown and Nolen Smith combined for 31 points, 15 rebounds, nine steals, and six blocked shots to lead Northern Potter to its first win of the year thanks to a 62-47 road NTL victory over Oswayo Valley.

Brown had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds while also adding five assists, four steals, and four blocks, and Smith scored 16 points to go with five rebounds, five steals, and two blocked shots.

Jacob Bartoo, Ty Daniels, and Cale Kosa all chipped in eight points for the Panthers, who were 0-18 coming into the game, with Michael Moore scoring seven.

Ian Bilski scored a career-high 20 points for Oswayo Valley with Caydon Black adding 10.

                                   

CAMERON COUNTY 61, PORT ALLEGANY 55

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Building a 15-point lead going to the fourth quarter, Cameron County held off a strong rally from visiting Port Allegany to get a 61-55 NTL win.

The Red Raiders led 39-24 after the third quarter only to see Port Allegany score 31 fourth-quarter points thanks in part to nine from Noah Archer.

Hayden Brown led a foursome of Cameron players in double digits with 18 points. Devin Fowler and Alan Erickson each added 14 points and Camdyn Allison had 11.

Archer’s late hot streak helped him lead the Gators with 14 points. He added six rebounds.

Drew Evens chipped in 11 points, five rebounds, three steals, and three blocked shot for Port Allegany with Blaine Moses contributing 11 points and nine rebounds. Jett Ruding also scored seven points and Braylon Button had five points and eight rebounds.

COUDERSPORT 59, GALETON 35

GALETON, Pa. – Visiting Coudersport got 21 points and five steals from Christian Furman on its way to a 59-35 win over Galeton in NTL action.

Logan Ruter had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons, while Garrett Kellert added nine points and eight boards.

Brady Cimino led Galeton with eight points.

SMETHPORT 57, AUSTIN 32

AUSTIN, Pa. – Alex Ognen led a balanced scoring effort for Smethport with 15 points, as the Hubbers hit the road and came away with a 57-32 win over Austin.

John Adamoski and Devon Williams each added nine points for Smethport with Brandon Higley scoring eight and Hayden Leet seven.

Adam Lucas paced Austin with 11 points with Jacob Hooftallen adding nine points and nine rebounds and Dawson Hooftallen four points and eight boards.
