JOHNSONBURG 36, SMETHPORT 26

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Johnsonburg held visiting Smethport to one third-quarter point on its way to a 36-26 win.

The Ramettes led 16-15 at halftime but outscored the Lady Hubbers 8-1 in the third quarter to gain separation.

                                      

Annasophia Stauffer and Ella Lindeberg each scored four points in the third quarter for Johnsonburg.

Stauffer scored 10 in the game with Lindberg adding eight points, 11 rebounds, three steals, and two assists.

Kaci Stelene led Johnsonburg with 11 points and added nine rebounds, while Julia Jones had five rebounds and three steals to go with one point.

Coryn McClain led Smethport with 10 points and eight rebounds, Sabrina Tanner added five points and nine boards, and Abby Lutz had six points and four steals.

BROCKWAY 51, SHEFFIELD 28

                          

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Selena Buttery scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Brockway to a 51-28 win at Sheffield.

Danielle Wood added 14 points and 10 assists in the win for the Lady Rovers with Nikki Baker scoring nine points.

Buttery, who was named the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Game, talked about the win.

Annabel Sheldon paced Sheffield with 12 points.

KARNS CITY 37, VENANGO CATHOLIC 18

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Emma Johns netted a game-high 17 points to lead Karns City to a 37-18 win over visiting Sheffield.

Brooke Manuel added seven points for the Lady Gremlins.

Lily Homan paced Venango Catholic with eight points, nine rebounds, and three steals.

CLEARFIELD 62, CURWENSVILLE 33

                                   

HYDE, Pa. – Emma Hipps led a balanced Clearfield offense with 13 points to help the Lady Bison to a 62-33 win over visiting Curwensville.

Riley Ryen added 10 points for Clearfield who also got nine on three first-half 3-pointers from Megan Durandetta and eight apiece from Paige Rhine and Cayleigh Walker.

Skylar Pentz’s 14 points led Curwensville, while Krya Henry scored nine points and Alyssa Bakaysa seven.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 56, BROOKVILLE 15

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Sarah Weaver and Riley Presloid combined for 29 points and led Punxsutawney to a 56-15 rout of Brookville.

Weaver hit 8 of 13 shots and scored 17 points while Presloid finished with 12 points. Danielle Griebel scored seven points and Katelyn Griebel grabbed nine rebounds to go with her two points and five assists.

Alayna Haight scored nine points on three 3-pointers for Brookville.

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 55, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 21

DUBOIS, Pa. – Maddie Yanc scored 18 points as Cambridge Springs beat DuBois Central Catholic, 55-21. 

Jordyn Wheeler had 15 points and Mackenzie Yanc 11 for the Blue Devils, who led 35-10 at halftime. 

Kayley Risser had eight points to pace DuBois Central Catholic.
