A-C VALLEY 36, NORTH CLARION 27

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Trailing by five going to the fourth quarter, Rachel Cullen scored 13 of her game-high 20 points to lift visiting A-C Valley to a 36-27 win over North Clarion.

The Lady Falcons were down 25-20 at the end of three, but, behind Cullen, outscored North Clarion 16-2 in the fourth quarter to get the win.

                                      

North Clarion’s lead was still 27-24 when Cullen tied the game at 27 with a 3-pointer with 4:11 to play.

Cullen then gave the Lady Falcons the lead for good with a jumper from the free-throw line with 1:26 to play.

Andrea Meals added eight points in the win for A-C Valley.

Emily Aites led North Clarion with seven points with Gwen Siegel and Trinity Thompson each scoring six.

JOHNSONBURG 56, SMETHPORT 30

SMETHPORT, Pa. – All 10 Johnsonburg players scored in a 56-30 win at Smethport.

Annasophia Stauffer led the Ramettes with 10 points and three assists. Alanna Sherry added nine points, Ella Lindberg chipped in eight points and six rebounds, Kaci Stelene had seven points and eight rebounds, and Julia Jones scored seven points, grabbed six rebounds, and came away with four steals.

Elizabeth Hungiville paced Smethport with 11 points.

UNION 51, VENANGO CATHOLIC 16

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Dominika Logue scored 28 points to help Union to a 51-16 win over visiting Venango Catholic.

                                   

Twenty-four of Logue’s points came in the second half.

Hailey Kriebel added nine points in the win for the Golden Damsels.

Mariah Wessell and Molly Mietus each scored five points for Venango Catholic.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 39, RIDGWAY 22

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Sydney Alexander scored 12 points to lead Elk County Catholic past visiting Ridgway, 39-22.

Lucy Klawhun added eight points for the Lady Crusaders who also got six points, 12 rebounds, and five steals from Tori Newton.

Julia Peterson led Ridgway with seven points.

KEYSTONE 53, CRANBERRY 27

KNOX, Pa. – Emily Lauer netted a game-high 24 points to help Keystone to a 53-27 win over visiting Cranberry.

Jozee Weaver also scored 13 points for the Lady Panthers.

Ayanna Ferringer and Kaia Dean each scored eight points for Cranberry.

DUBOIS 60, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 24

DUBOIS, Pa. – Saige Weible and Abby Guiher combined to score 26 points, as DuBois beat visiting DuBois Central Catholic, 60-24.

                                  

Weible led the Lady Beavers with 14 points with Guiher adding 12.

Kayley Riser led DCC with 10 points.

BROCKWAY 49, BROOKVILLE 19

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Danielle Wood scored 19 points, handed out six assists and came away with seven steals to lead Brockway to a 49-19 win over visiting Brookville.

Selena Buttery had a double-double for the Lady Rovers with 11 points and 14 rebounds, and Nikki Baker added six points and 10 rebounds.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 69, MONITEAU 40

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Riley Presloid and Sarah Weaver combined to score 43 points, grab 11 rebounds, swipe seven balls, and hand out four assists to lead Punxsutawney past visiting Moniteau, 69-40.

Presloid led the Lady Chucks with 23 points while adding five steals, four rebounds, and an assist, while Weaver added 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Aslyn Pry had 18 points, 16 rebounds, three blocked shots, and three assists for Moniteau. Catherine Kelly chipped in 11 points for the Lady Warriors who also got eight points from Abby Rottman.

KARNS CITY 46, FOREST AREA 12

MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Rossi McMillen scored 14 of her 16 points in the first half to help Karns City past Forest Area, 46-12.

Emma Johns added 12 points for Karns City, which led 38-7 at halftime.

Amber Guzzi and Jessica Wagner had three points each for Forest Area.

BELLEFONTE 42, CLEARFIELD 34

HYDE, Pa. – Despite a much stronger performance against Bellefonte than on Thursday night, Clearfield dropped its second straight game losing to Lady Raiders, 42-34, Friday night at Clearfield.

Bellefonte beat Clearfield 50-25 on Thursday.

Maddie Tice led Bellefonte with 16 points with Mia Johnson scoring nine.

Riley Ryen paced Clearfield with 13 points and Emma Hipps had seven.

EISENHOWER 35, SHEFFIELD 31

RUSSELL, Pa. – Eisenhower outscored Sheffield 13-6 in the fourth quarter on its way to a 35-31 victory over the host Wolverines.

Delaney Chase led Eisenhower with a game-high 17 points. Chase also had 12 steals.

Emily Foster scored 14 points for Sheffield, including a 6-for-6 effort from the free-throw line.

Annabel Sheldon added nine points for Sheffield.
