GREENVILLE 57, MEADVILLE 55

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Ben Cano had a big game, pouring in 21 points as Greenville earned a huge 57-55 non-region win over Meadville. 

                                      

The Trojans led by 11, 46-35 going into the fourth quarter and held off a late rally from the Bulldogs.

Brady Kincaid added 10 points for Greenville and Logan Lentz seven.  

Meadville knocked down ten 3’s in the game and was paced by Sam Burchard’s 16 points. 

Alex McElhinny netted 10 for Meadville and Charlie Waid and Khalon Simmons eight each. 

ERIE 62, FRANKLIN 48

                          

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Marquell Darnell led four Erie players in double figures with 16 points as the Royals won a non-region showdown with Franklin, 62-48. 

The Royals pulled away late, outsourcing the Knights 18-7 in the fourth quarter. 

Darnell scored 12 of his 16 in the second half, while John Woodward tallied 11 points and Marcel Banks and Jamie Smith 10 apiece. 

Easton Fulmer scored 17 of his game-high 24 points in the second half for Franklin. 

Damon Curry added nine points for Franklin. 

SAEGERTOWN 66, MAPLEWOOD 26

GUYS MILLS, Pa. – Jaden Wilkins scored 20 points as Saegertown outscored Maplewood 36-6 in the second half en route to a 66-26 victory. 

Max Fuller netted 13 points and Brady Greco 12 for the Panthers. 

Kaleb Donor had nine points for Maplewood. 

YOUNGSVILLE 43, IROQUOIS 39

                                   

LAWRENCE PARK, Pa. – Ethan Kesterholt scored 17 points as Youngsville edged Iroquois, 43-39 for its third-straight win. 

Kesterholt’s backcourt mate, Joe Mack, netted 15 points in the win, as the Eagles outscored the Braves 15-11 in the fourth quarter. 

Ben Burkhardt led a pair of Iroquois players in double figures with 17 points, while Logan Briggs added 11. 

FARRELL 72, JAMESTOWN 43

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – Trian Holden scored 18 points as Farrell powered past Jamestown, 72-43. 

Holden was one of four Steelers’ in double figures, as Jaimen Holden netted 14 points, Omar Stewart 12 and Christian Hartley 10. 

Farrell outscored the Muskies 45-24 in the first half. 

Cameron Keyser had 13 points for Jamestown and Peyton McElhinny eight. 

HARBOR CREEK 67, JEFFERSON (OHIO) 52

JEFFERSON, OHIO – Sam Howell and Jaden Rooco combined for 47 points as Harbor Creek beat Jefferson in a non-region battle, 67-52.

Howell netted 27 and Rocco 20. 

Kody Cunningham had 18 points for Jefferson. 

REYNOLDS 36, WEST MIDDLESEX 34

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Aidan Mull scored 15 points as Mercer edged West Middlesex, 36-34. 

Nick Loposky added 10 points for the Raiders. 

                                  

Richie Preston led West Middlesex with 14 points. 

NEW CASTLE 93, SHARON 43

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Brett Salsgiver had a big game with 28 points, but it was host New Castle that ran away with a 93-43 victory. 

Sheldon Cox led a balanced New Castle effort with 16 points .

GIRLS

SLIPPERY ROCK 52, GROVE CITY 30

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock raced out to a 19-4 lead after the first quarter en route to clinching at least a share of the Region 5 title with a 52-30 win over Grove City. 

The win was the second this season for the Rockets over the Eagles. 

Hallie Raabe scored 15 points to lead Slippery Rock, while Anna Kadlubek had 13 and Maryann Ackerman nine. 

Emma Santom scored nine points to lead Grove City and Hannah Reiber added eight. 

WARREN 52, GENERAL MCLANE 25

WARREN, Pa. – Emma Ruhlman scored 18 points and Riley Childress 15 as Warren raced past General McLane, 52-25. 

The Lady Dragons scored the first nine points of the game and never looked back, drilling 10 3-pointers in the process. 

Ruhlman added eight rebounds and Childress six assists, while Kelsey Stuart had nine points. 

Emily Hess scored 14 points to lead GM. 

HICKORY 39, OIL CITY 32

OIL CITY, Pa. – Malana Beach hit a late go-ahead 3-pointer as Hickory earned a 39-32 victory over Oil City. 

For the Hornets, Aniyah Anderson had another big game, pouring in 20 points to go along with 12 rebounds. 

McKenzie Gustas and Kaelyn Fustos added five points each for Hickory, while Madison Jones pulled down 11 rebounds. 

Jenna Fischli and Emma Stahl scored 11 points each for Oil City. 

FAIRVIEW 50, NORTHWESTERN 9

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Hope Garrity scored 15 points as Fairview raced past Northwestern, 50-9. 

Abby McCall scored nine points, Caroline Zentis eight and Sammy Momeyer seven for the Tigers. 

Kayden Bird scored five points for Northwestern. 

ERIE 34, CORRY 29

CORRY, Pa. – Torreuna Roberts scored 15 points to help Erie push past Corry, 34-29. 

D’Auzhanay Harden added eight points for the Royals. 

Skylar Riedel scored 12 points and Rachel Brady 11 for the Beavers. 

GREENVILLE 58, COCHRANTON 53

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Jaidah Rosario scored 23 points as Greenville held off Cochranton, 58-53. 

Greenville outscored Cochranton 16-6 in the second quarter on its way to the win. 

Josie Lewis added 11 points and Grace Cano 10 for the Trojans. 

Jaylin McGill led three Cochranton players in double figures with 16 points. 

Lexie Moore added 14 and Megan Hei 11 for Cochranton. 

CONNEAUT (Pa.) 48, FRANKLIN 37

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Conneaut outscored Franklin by nine in the first half on its way to a 48-37 victory. 

Emma Stevenson led Conneaut with 15 points and Rylee Jones netted 12. 

For Franklin, Camden Bashor had 15 points. 

VILLA MARIA 67, HARBOR CREEK 15

ERIE, Pa. – Jayden McBride led a balanced scoring effort with 15 points as Villa remained perfect with a 67-15 win over Harbor Creek. 

Daniela Shaughnessy added 10 points and Rachel Majewski nine for the Victors. 

Shaelie Born had six points to pace Harbor Creek. 

GIRARD 63, NORTH EAST 49

GIRARD, Pa. – Courtney McDonald scored 18 points to lead four Girard players in double figures in a 63-49 win over North East. 

Amber Carr netted 17, Kayla Sharman 14 and Abby Sherman 12 for the Yellow Jackets. 

Girard outscored North East 33-22 in the second half. 

Kami Mayes scored 12 points and Alex Cozzens 10 for North East. 

FORT LEBOEUF 54, CONNEAUT (OHIO) 26

WATERFORD, Pa. – Fort LeBoeuf got a balanced scoring effort, led by Torsha McCall’s 13 points in a 54-26 win over Conneaut (Ohio), 54-26. 

Kylie Papay scored 12 points for the Bison and Montana Truitt and Alee Young nine each. 

Kat Ray led Conneaut with seven points.
