CURWENSVILLE 44, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 39

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Alyssa Bakaysa scored nine of her team-high 13 points in the fourth quarter to help Curwensville rally past visiting DuBois Central Catholic, 44-39.

The Lady Tide trailed by five, 31-26, going to the fourth quarter but behind Bakaysa outscored the Lady Cardinals 18-8 in the final eight minutes to get the win.

                                      

Kyra Henry added 11 points for Curwensville with Austyn Guiher scoring eight, Skylar Pentz seven, and Joslynne Freyer five.

Kayley Riser had a game-high 15 points for DCC with Paris Farley chipping in 11, Faith Jacob eight, and Jessy Frank five.

A-C VALLEY 50, UNION 42

FOXBURG, Pa. – Baylee Blauser and Meah Ielase combined to score 25 points to help A-C Valley down visiting Union, 50-42.

                          

Blauser scored 10 of her game-high 13 points in the first three quarters with Ielase adding eight of her 12 points before the final stanza to help the Lady Falcons build a 35-19 lead going to the fourth quarter.

Union, behind seven points from Kennedy Vogle and six from Dominika Logue, tried to rally in the fourth quarter and outscored A-C Valley 23-15 but couldn’t close the deal.

Vogle and Logue each scored 12 points fo the Golden Damsels with Keira Croyle adding 11.

Rachel Cullen and Mia Sherman each chipped in nine points for A-C Valley with Andrea Meals scoring seven.

REDBANK VALLEY 34, KARNS CITY 26

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Trailing by two heading to the fourth quarter, visiting Redbank Valley held Karns City without a field goal in the fourth quarter and rallied for a 34-26 win.

The Lady Bulldogs were down 25-23 after three but allowed Karns CIty just a single free throw in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Claire Clouse and Madison Foringer each scored four points in the final eight minutes with Caylen Rearick adding three free throws to give Redbank Valley the victory.

Clouse had 12 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs with Foringer scoring seven and Rearick six.

                                   

Abby Callihan led Karns City with 11 points with Emma Johns scoring eight, including six in the third quarter on a pair of 3-pointers.

DUBOIS 58, BROOKVILLE 28

DUBOIS, Pa. – Saige Weible netted a team-high 15 points to lead DuBois to a 58-28 win over visiting Brookville.

Abby Guher added nine points on three 3-pointers for the Lady Beavers who also got eight from Olivia Johnson and seven from Madison Rusnica.

Alaina Haight scored a game-high 17 points for Brookville.

CRANBERRY 48, FOREST AREA 25

TIONESTA, Pa. – Visiting Cranberry put three players in double digits on its way to a 48-25 win over Forest Area at West Forest.

Ava Ferringer led the Berries with 13 points, seven rebounds, and seven steals with Kendell Findley adding 12 points and Kaia Dean 10 points and six rebounds.

Jessica Wagner scored 10 points for Forest Area with Megan Clow adding seven.
