COCHRANTON 59, SAEGERTOWN 47

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Jaiben Walker had a monster game, pouring in 25 points as Cochranton topped Saegertown in a Region 2 battle, 59-47. 

The Cardinals used a 22-10 third-quarter run to break open what was a tie game at the half. 

Keeton Grimes and Wyatt Barzak scored nine apiece for Cochranton. 

Saegertown put three players in double figures, led by Brady Greco’s 18 points. 

Jaden Wilkins scored 14 points and Max Fuller added 11 for the Panthers. 

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 62, UNION CITY 34

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – Nathan Held scored 18 of his game-high 20 points in the first half as Cambridge Springs maintained its spot atop the Region 2 standings with a 62-34 win over Union City. 

Trent Wheeler scored nine of his 11 points in the first half for the Blue Devils, who raced out to a 38-15 lead at the half. 

Jayden Shinksy added 10 points for Cambridge Springs. 

Matthew Bennett and Wyatt Post scored eight points each for Union City. 

HARBOR CREEK 47, FAIRVIEW 38

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Jaden Rocco scored 13 points as Harbor Creek put a stranglehold on first-place in Region 5 with a 47-38 win over Fairview. 

Sam Howell added 11 points for the Huskies, who outscored the Tigers by eight in the third quarter on their way to the win. 

Logan Frazao and Tyler Shultz scored 11 points each to lead Fairview. 

WARREN 60, FORT LEBOEUF 53

WATERFORD, Pa. – Ben Berdine scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half as Warren earned a 60-53 Region 5 road win at Fort LeBoeuf. 

The Dragons led by as many as 20 and were able to hold off the Bison, who got as close as three in the fourth quarter. 

JT Blum scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half for the Dragons, while Parks Ordiway notched nine of his 12 in the first half. 

Tommy Nyquist scored eight points and dished out 10 assists for Warren. 

Max Endres scored 13 points for Fort LeBoeuf, while Brandon Drayer added 12 and Derek Black 11. 

CONNEAUT (Pa.) 68, TITUSVILLE 44

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Conneaut outscored Titusville 42-25 in the second half on its way to a 68-44 victory. 

Mason Kroniser scored 19 points and Roman DeMarco added 17 for the Eagles. 

Andrew Wheeling scored 10 points to pace Titusville, while Derek Bech added nine. 

EISENHOWER 65, MAPLEWOOD 45

RUSSELL, Pa. – Owen Trumbull poured in a game-high 21 points to help Eisenhower to a 65-45 victory over Maplewood. 

Trumbull scored 12 of his 21 points in the second half. The Knights built a 13-point halftime advantage on their way to the win. 

Curt Darling and Wyatt Lookenhouse scored 13 points each for the Knights, while Luke Smelko added 12. 

Brandon Snell led Maplewood with 14 points, while Kaleb Donor added 11. 

KENNEDY CATHOLIC 89, ROCKY GROVE 65

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Sky’Ler Thomas led five Kennedy Catholic players in double figures, as the Golden Eagles topped Rocky Grove, 89-65. 

Gio Magestro and Malik Lampkins-Rudolph had 17 points each for KC, which led 48-17 at halftime. 

Dajaun Young scored 16 points for the Golden Eagles and Elijah Harden added 10. 

Isaac Clayton had a monster game for the Orioles, pouring in 31 points. 

Caden Toscano added 19 points for Rocky Grove. 

ERIE 74, MEADVILLE 55

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Marcell Banks led five Erie players in double figures with 16 points as the Royals beat Meadville in a Region 6 battle, 74-55. 

Tarrel Petty scored 14 points and Marquell Darnell 12 for the Royals, who jumped out to a 16-point lead in the first quarter. 

Charlie Waid scored 17 points for Meadville and Reese Pero 10. 

YOUNGSVILLE 57, IROQUOIS 48

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Brady Olewine scored 21 points to lead Youngsville to a 57-48 Region 2 win over Iroquois. 

The Eagles played a strong first half, jumping out to a 30-17 lead en route to the win. 

Joe Mack added nine points for the Eagles and Dominic Dell and Austin Peterson seven each. 

Logan Briggs paced Iroquois with 16 points, while Ben Burkhardt added 11. 

HICKORY 74, SHARON 40

SHARON, Pa. – Connor Evans poured in 20 points as Hickory powered past Sharon, 74-40. 

Jackson Pryts netted 17 points and Peyton Mele 10 for the Hornets. 

Brayden Coxson had 12 points for Sharon. 

MCDOWELL 73, CATHEDRAL PREP 54

ERIE, Pa. – McDowell beat Cathedral Prep for the first time in four tries this season, 73-54. 

Jonah Bock and Jackson Hower both had big games for the Trojans, scoring 22 points apiece in the win. 

McDowell outscored Prep 37-22 in the second half. 

Jaden Harper chipped in with 18 points for McDowell. 

Reece Covlin led Prep with 14 points. 

SHARPSVILLE 77, WILMINGTON 23

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – Jackson Doyle had a big game, pouring in 33 points as Sharpsville eased past Wilmington, 77-23. 

Zack Ramsey added 12 points for the Blue Devils. 

Mason Reed had six points for Wilmington. 

LAKEVIEW 57, WEST MIDDLESEX 50

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. – Lakeview outscored West Middlesex 20-14 in the fourth quarter en route to a 57-50 victory. 

Isaac Lightcap connected for 21 points for the Sailors, while LAne Smith and Hunter Miller added 10 each. 

Hunter Smith scored 21 points for West Middlesex and Richie Preston 12. 

NORTH EAST 72, NORTHWESTERN 68 

ALBION, Pa. – Garrett Hein led five North East players in double figures with 15 points as the ‘Pickers outlasted Northwestern, 72-68 in overtime. 

Carter Hassenplug added 13 points for North East, which outscored the Wildcats 13-9 in the extra session. 

Ryan Tewell had a big game for Northwestern with 25 points, while Eric Steinle netted 19. 

GIRLS

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 39, FRANKLIN 34

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Maddie Yanc scored 21 points as Cambridge Springs held off Franklin, 39-34. 

Yanc scored 16 of her points in the first half, as the Blue Devils built a 26-19 advantage. 

Hailee Rodgers added eight points and Mackenzie Yanc seven for Cambridge Springs. 

Zelika Hartle scored 15 points for Franklin and Reilly Phipps added eight. 

SLIPPERY ROCK 49, HICKORY 21

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Newly-minted 1,000-point scorer Anna Kadlubek scored 16 points as Slippery Rock powered past Hickory, 49-21. 

Hallie Raabe netted 13 points and Kelly Benson nine for the Rockets. 

Aniyah Anderson had 13 points to pace Hickory. 

COCHRANTON 53, MAPLEWOOD 52

GUYS MILLS, Pa. – Lexie Moore scored 15 points as Cochranton edged Maplewood, 53-52. 

Riley Harvey added 14 points for the Cardinals, who outscored the Tigers 19-14 in the fourth quarter and 34-23 in the second half. 

Sadie Thomas connected for 22 points for Maplewood, while Izzy Eimer added 15. 

HARBOR CREEK 40, SENECA 24

WATTSBURG, Pa. – Samantha Zank scored 13 points to help Harbor Creek past Seneca, 40-24. 

Lily Pulvino and Shaelie Born added eight points apiece for Harbor Creek.
