GIRLS

VILLA MARIA 51, WARREN 19

WARREN, Pa. – Rachel Majewski led a balanced effort with 12 points as Villa Maria knocked off Warren for the second time this season, 51-19. 

                                      

Carissa Dunham scored 11 points for the Victors, while Ava Waid and Daniela Shaughnessy added 10 each. 

Waid scored all 10 of her points in the first half as the Victors raced out to a 23-6 lead. 

Emma Ruhlman led Warren with six points. 

                          

HARBOR CREEK 52, ERIE 48 – Overtime

ERIE, Pa. – Samantha Zank poured in 30 points to lead Harbor Creek past Erie in overtime, 52-48. 

The Huskies trailed by 11 at halftime but rallied to send the game to the extra session. 

In overtime, Harbor Creek outscored Erie, 8-4. 

Arianna Mitchell scored 19 points and D’Auzhanay Harden 17 for Erie. 

FAIRVIEW 41, NORTH EAST 24

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Hope Garrity scored 12 points to help Fairview to a 41-24 victory over North East. 

Abby McCall drilled three 3’ and finished with nine points for the Tigers, who led 23-10 at halftime. 

Sara Gennuso and Jada McBride added six points each for Fairview. 

Alex Cozzens had 10 points to lead North East. 

                                   

HICKORY 39, FRANKLIN 26

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Aniyah Anderson had 10 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as Hickory beat Franklin, 39-26. 

McKenzie Gustas had 12 points to lead Hickory, which broke open a 4-point game going in the fourth quarter with a 9-0 run to close the game. 

Malana Beach added nine points for the Hornets. 

Lauren Billingsley had 12 points to lead Franklin. 

LAKEVIEW 55, WILMINGTON 30

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Reese Gadsby scored 16 points to help Lakeview to a 55-30 victory over Wilmington. 

Amber Sefton knocked down three 3’s a part of a 15-point effort for the Sailors, who broke the game open with an 18-2 spurt in the second quarter. 

Renee Ealy had 10 points for Wilmington. 

SLIPPERY ROCK 52, OIL CITY 18

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Maryann Ackerman and Anna Kadlubek scored 12 points each as Slippery Rock powered past Oil City, 52-18. 

Slippery Rock jumped out to a 28-2 lead after the first quarter. 

A total of 10 different players found their way into the scoring column for the Rockets. 

KENNEDY CATHOLIC 72, MERCER 21

MERCER, Pa. – Alayjah Jones scored 18 points as Kennedy Catholic powered past Mercer, 72-21. 

                                  

Keegan MCConahy had 16 points and Paris Gilmore 12 for KC, which raced out to a 24-4 lead after the first quarter. 

Peyton Miller had six points for Mercer. 

SHARON 47, TITUSVILLE 13

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Jaysina Sellers poured in 26 points as Sharon bested Titusville, 47-13. 

The Tigers led 22-7 at halftime. 

Lilly Tucker had six points for Titusville. 

BOYS

GREENVILLE 74, JAMESTOWN 51

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – A game after surpassing the 1,000-point milestone, Ben Cano poured in 25 more points to lead Greenville to a 74-51 win over Jametown. 

Cano drained four 3’s in the effort. 

Greenville jumped out to a big lead, 42-22 at halftime. 

Three other Greenville players scored in double figures. Jalen Ritzert netted 13 points, Brady Kincaid 12, and Evan Cianci 10. 

Three Muskies reached double figures scoring – Peyton McElhinny with 16 points, Dan Parks with 12, and Cameron Keyser with 10. 

CATHEDRAL PREP 52, GIRARD 23

ERIE, Pa. – Liam Galla scored 17 points as Cathedral Prep topped Girard, 52-23. 

Khali Horton added nine points for the Ramblers. 

Ethan Getz had 10 points to pace Girard.

NESHANNOCK 50, WILMINGTON 17

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Mike Sopko led Neshannock with 14 points as they beat Wilmington, 50-17.

Mason Reed led Wilmington with five points and Ethan Susen and Weston Phanco netted four apiece.
